Agree on that. What I do find funny is the persistence of this belief of cheap "made in china" stuff while truly they have really come up with technologies and financial success for years and we should be more scared than anything (economically I mean).

Anyway congrats to China and chinese people for Change 3 made space news really good lately!

And even with the apparent problems with the rover, this is an awesome success for a first try at something really hard (soft landing). I hope they continue to go further and faster

Just about everything we have these days comes from China, including top-brand quality stuff. They can make cheap knockoff stuff too. You get what you pay for, they cater for all markets.

The domestic market within China is going to be LARGER than the total USA production. Look at where Japan was at the end of WW2, they use to be known for "shoddy" work.

China already have a bigger car market than USA and in case you didn't notice, most of the stuff is manufactured there while in USA factories are being closed. But that's OT.

No, it's not racist. It is chauvinist, but it's a lighthearted joke so it's not a problem.

Looks like the rover survived the Lunar night, I do not know if it will complete the 3 month survey due to mechanical problems but hopefully Yu'tu will keep going.
