Veto Aerospace Gannet

The Veto Aerospace Gannet is a notoriously difficult machine to land on water, especially considering how important the timing of the booster-drop is - since they carry three important RCS gas tanks, without which the Gannet could run out of RCS, but with which the craft will be too heavy to land. However, this difficulty is not without its balance, which is the Gannet\'s hefty payload. Though it can be released in air, it is intended that it be used as a ranged missile against enemy shipping or marine weapons platforms. The warhead packs a punch, and the four SRBs that carry it will also detonate on impact. It is fitted with ASAS guidance, for added destructive efficiency*.

Highest safe speed with payload: 7.4 m/s [sAS off]

Highest safe speed with payload: 23.5 m/s [sAS on, rear flaps up]

Highest safe speed without payload: 17.4 m/s [sAS off]

Highest safe speed without payload: 42.3 m/s [sAS on, rear flaps down]

Gannet Type-2.

Now with airbrake parachutes, redesigned missile [should work now], improved bouyancy, and the ability to water-land gently enough to keep the launch engines [and their RCS cannisters], all at only the cost of speed following payload launch.

Only from Veto Aerospace.
