Born from many designs, the XP-97 Flying Ram looks alot like the Northrop XP-79 Flying Ram when I first created it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_XP-79), therefore the name XP-97. The wings are a personal creation used on one of my previous planes, that hopefully will be put up later. Those wings were inspired by TheWinterOwl\'s C7 Spaceplane Tutorial part 6a (

) The mainbody was a mixture of the XP-79 and Podracer designs from this thread (http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=5277.0)

Overall the plane is quite sensitive on the pitch, but still flyable with the keyboard (all flight test were done with the keyboard). It flies well but has a high landing speed (up near 40-50 m/s!). Landing should be approached from low altitude, as with all my designs. The aircraft is not big enough or designed to go into space, so RCS, ASAS and SAS is not included but the aircraft can be modifyed to use such.

*there are no pictures of this.
