That fixes the clouds disappearing. I don't think it fixes the camera issue.

Mmmh, I don't understand all this fully. Is this clouds issue fixed now or what do I have to do to fix it? In my install (SVE and EVE via CKAN) I still have disappearing clouds at certain altitudes... :(

@rbray89 using the latest Git dev build, as above, I am still getting this issue. Same symptoms and causes as before.

Hmmm.... Both @Proot and I see it as fixed...

Weird. Also I cannot get the stock configs to show up the cube map textures at all, just as @Nhawks17 is experiencing too. Whatever I try, EVE fails to see the textures as valid in the GUI as the path entered shows up red.

Is there a build that Proot and yourself are using that is not the build: commit fcc42a6c7faafbec1f8656a04e59faa86de8f8c7 (Jan 29, 2016)?

Seems fixed for me, but I haven't played as much as usual in the last one or two weeks... My only change for all this since previous version is, in the pqs.cfg file:

PQS_MANAGER
{
    OBJECT
    {
        body = Kerbin
        deactivateDistance = 160000
    }
    OBJECT
    {
        body = Jool
        deactivateDistance = 175000
    }
}

dose it work with opm

Scroll up and click on @Poodmunds signature. install that, and yes, EVE works with OPM.

--EDIT--

Welcome to the forums!

Even with that, the bug still appears unfortunately... :(

yo im having an issue where the clouds are black when they should not be, and there is usually a cut-off of clouds around planets' diameters. I installed the mod for the first time last week, are people getting this issue? I do not have the city lights installed, only the clouds

So I've been searching this thread and found others with the same problem but no answer that satisfyed me:

At sunrise, sunset the clouds are pitch black and I don't think this is normal. For me there is no grey, only black or white.

Hello there,

I've installed EVE and EVE config files using ckan, both the EVE folder en the BoulderCo folder are there in my ksp/gamedata folder. However, clouds and lights do not appear in game. I checked the log file, it does mention loading them up though...

Here's the log file:

I use Realism Overhaul/RSS/RP-0

thanks !

The old Eve needs to be tweaked to work with actual RSS, cause now the planets are Earth/Mars/Venus, not more Kerbin/Duna/Eve...

When running with RSS/etc. You need to find a visuals pack for those planets.

Ok Thanks. Do know where i should start looking?

RVE is the only visual overhaul for RSS (that I know of). When it works, it is a captivatingly beautiful work of art. It's author, Pingopete, has been performing work towards an update to make the mod work in 1.0.5, and by following the advice on the mod's thread, you can find a WIP release of the update. Here is a link to the mod: RVE.

I downloaded it manually off github, the newest release. Do you know what went wrong?

Hmm... that is very strange, you used the bundled EVE correct? I haven't seen this since EVE was in the Overhaul branch....
