I don't have a boulderco folder and the problem is also Kerbalism

@rbray89 isn't active in KSP modding now.  Please go to and follow the new EVE topic for releases and discussion and upgrade to the EVE downloads there.

I hadn't noticed that.  I searched for SciFi Visual Enhancements and couldn't find a topic, but if there is one that's active and it's still supporting KSP 1.1.3 versions, I would suggest asking there.  Otherwise I don't know if you're going to get much support as most users and modders' focus is on KSP 1.2.2.

What you could do is pull in the EVE Config's for KSP 1.1 off of @rbray89's release page and try pulling the SciFi Visual Enhancements configs and putting in EVE's configs and see if EVE's work.  If they do, then the issue is some difference between the two configs.  Maybe comparing them, especially the cloud configs, will point you at it.  Otherwise you'll have to pull half your mods and test to see if the bug is still there.  After than, continue to divide and test until you find the problem mod that causes it.  Don't know what you'll do then as it's unlikely you'll be able to find a non-conflicting version of the mod.

Don't pester authors for updates. If you'll see the post just above yours is from this week, and it says "I'm in the progress of updating to 1.2.2". If you'll also check a couple posts up, there is a link to a thread by another author that has picked up the project.

I have a couple requests:

first, I'd like to see the Astronomer's Visual Pack updated for ksp 1.2, or at least have some of its features included in the next release of EVE,

and second, I'd like to see more varied clouds on Jool, e.g. a great green spot, where the clouds are lower, bowl-shaped, possibly tall clouds, maybe even lightning!

Who is this comment directed at?  This thread is dead and the new thread is linked directly above your comment.  But to answer some of your questions,  EVE is just a bare minimum visual pack and will not implement any of the features included in Astronomer's Visual Pack or any pack for that matter. I would recommend looking at SVE or part-time I've linked both below.

woah, 2013? I think the configs would need updating. This is a cool concept tho, would be nice if anyone was able to re-create it for the latest EVE/Scatterer/Kopernicus

Would it be possible to add a button in the map view that allows you to toggle rendering of clouds on and off? they look amazing however they can interfere with planning suborbital flights as a clear view of the ground is sometimes needed for fine tuning a trajectory.

i know the chance of getting a reply is low but i have to ask/make a suggestion.

eve honestly looks like a big ugly purple ball that you find in a kid's toy closet.

it would be very nice if eve's outer atmosphere would have some decoration and/or cloud color variations (to give it that stripped  shirt covering the planet effect)

the rest of is all still amazing and sitting landed on eve seems incredible don't get me wrong but the outside of eve just looks like the game glitched and refused textures
