.22 Empty Fuel Tanks!

Hey guys,

Ive been using fat nose nose empty fuel tanks for months on ksp( excellent for converting kethane into fuel while in orbit.)so i can launch lighter payloads and add fuel at minmus before burning off to my destination. Does anyone know of a mod that does a similar job??? Or a mod that lets you set fuel levels at take off??? (BTW ksp rocks and so do all the people on the forums!!!!)

Modular fuels, it works great and allows you to fill any stock tank with any value of fuel.

I've heard that tweakables in .23 will let you choose how much fuel you start with, but take that with a grain of salt because i'm not a dev and don't know for sure

Why not use the fuel up when you're launching? All you need are a few fuel lines and trusses. Attach the tiny cubic trusses down one side of your ship, attach the fuel lines so the fuel flows down to the stages, and you're all set.

tweakables will allow you to empty any tank you like.

I'll confirm that. You can use TAC Fuel Balancer to vent off fuel on the launchpad, allowing you to launch tanks after you've emptied them out.

You can also vent fuel by enabling only oxidiser or only Liquid Fuel and burning through rocket engine. It will produce no thrust, but the resource will be consumed anyway.
