<p>You know all those other Devnote Tuesday blogs where every precise bit of info was listed? This afternoon was the unveiling of all that hard work. The team has spent the last few days getting the final touches in there and today, it was ready for launch.</p>

<p>So why are you reading this? You should be out in space, collecting science, playing around with <strong>tweakables</strong> and trying to tear yourself away from the new <strong>R.A.P.I.E.R.</strong> engine.</p>

well, two notes:

- it would be nice to write down precise number by hand, using slider not easy at all;

- it would be nice to have indicator of alignment of Center of Mass, Center of Thrust and Center of Lift, to make tweaking things easier.

also:

- VAB and SPH is in need of display of total mass, total dV, dV per stage and, total time of fuel consumption on full throttle and time of fuel consumption on full throttle on stage, and as contracts is coming - total cost of vehicle;

- having some possibility to tweak symmetrical parts in flight would be really nice;

- and the last - change the way how fuel tanks work, by default - loaded with their fuel and as alternative - total units of space is free to load them with just one type of fuel (for example - orange tank full of xenon), that can make orbital fuel depot easier to work with.

Man, that's a lot of xenon!

yep, like for several years of burning it =)

add like 20-40 ion engines, set kOS for a burn at node and go to sleep =)

edit: and jokes aside - it's just ridiculous example of possibility. I believe many people want that for many different reasons, like having a big monopropellant tank out of plane fuselage for SSTO, or adding an oxidiser to same plane fuselage tank. and yes, i know that this will be a playtoy only for "gamers who mastered the game", that "different fuels has different densities" and "you have to make some annoying maths to make it work flawless". well as for me - i just write down simple utility to compute best proportions.

also: customisation of fuel tank must have some extra costs, so if you really want to customise tank you need to make sure that it's worth it.

I'm wondering if there is an easy way to copy/clone an orange tank in the parts folder and change its details weight etc to xenon..

well, it's not hard in any way, but you just rise part count on one part that you use for one craft maximum, so it's not a best way to do such thing. also before 0.23 came i imagine work of tweakables in a way i describe earlier, and even come up to some ideas just to understand that they are useless =)

I however, would like to have V-3 fuel jet fuel tanks with oxidiser, and a part that converts V-3 to a usable standard medium rocket engine. Like everyone here, i would like to make an asthetically apealing Space shuttle.

now that i mention it, i would like doors aswell. I hate having to use landing legs for my (poor) shuttle.

Already in-game, just look at the left side bottum. Unless your talking about something else.

I believe Volodyuka is talking about an indicator to show you if the CoM/CoT/CoL are perfectly aligned or not. The RCS balancer mod does this for CoM/CoT, but it would be nice to include CoL and have it stock.

oh. I know 'bout these sections of forum, i hope somebody from dev team look in for suggestions. and i know what everything that i wrote earlier are already suggested. and what tweakables were suggested as a possibility to change content of tank, well regardless i hope what devs just doesn't implement tweakables in their full glory yet.

yep, that's what i mean. but i more prefer number in degrees or metres, like "CoM is out of alignment with CoT in 5 degrees vertically"
