Has anyone tried this? I've yet to see anyone with a different "My Profile".

What do you mean? That menu just let's you change things like signature, colrs, etc.

You can customise your profile page so that other members can see your custom colours, fonts, etc. It can be disabled by anyone who doesn't wish to see it for themselves. If you have a look at a few people's pages, you'll see a few have fiddled with it.

It works for me. Now, my profile is pretty :3 thanks for bringing this to light, I never would have picked it up!
