He's not wrong, though. The mountains would look really cool with some snow on them. I'm guessing that's more of a texture/EVA type fix.

Snowy Mountain used to have snow on the plateau and peak. If it doesn't now, that's a change of the terrain map and nothing to do with KerbinSide.

So I installed Kerbinside... got it all. Launched a plane, really laggy, set kerbal to high priority in task manager,

Then my game crashed.

ram usage? maybe u have settings too high? try doing -force open_gl or opengl in the steam launch settings? it was something like that, -force something.

Definitely lower settings if possible. While OpenGL does often result in less CTDs, most report that it doesn't do any good to their fps.

Actually, it worked fine once I uninstalled scatterer, but then when I did revert flight it froze there and I couldn't press any buttons. It still "Responded" though.

Hello everybody! I've created the new mod, that may be interesting for those who use Kerbin Side.

Also for this mod I updated the NavUtilities mod config with Kerbin Side runways (based on version from here), namely: added multi-launch bases, recalculated all headings to fit runways better, marked out glide slopes for runways where some glide slopes lie under obstacles (for example "Kerman Lake 33 gs 7.5" means that minimal glide slope for this runway is 7.5, that is one must avoid approach using 3 or 5 degrees).

Water launch sites were a part of a pack by another modder that he has yet to update. It has therefore been excluded from recent releases, since the textures are RAM heavy and need optimising.

Sorry m8 didn't mean to have caps, using precise control in game. I was just really surprised because I just updated this and installed a ship mod so I was a little bummed I couldn't launch them.

If you have a lot of other mods, don't run it in normal 32-bit KSP. I'm running 66 mods in DX11 mode, including KSide Skyways, but only 15 parts mods, and those are mostly small. Atomic Age, Cryo Engines, Kebal Atomics, Mk4 Fuselage, Near Future Solar, SpaceY Lifters, and Station Parts Expansion are about all the large part mods I have on that install. My other install has about 35 more parts mods, plus a bunch of IVA mods to make flying more fun.

I've been playing around with this mod for the last little bit, and I'm absolutely loving it. However, I've noticed that a number of facilities do not appear to be working in various bases, ex. the Barracks at Mount Snowey, the Hangars and Fuel Tanks at Area 110011, etc.

I checked the .cfg files on a fresh download from SpaceDock, and it appears that the facilities for these instances aren't defined. Is there a specific reason for that? Are they just facilities that are on the list, and haven't been gotten around to yet?

It seems simple enough to fix this by editing the statics in-game/through the config file, so I'll be doing that for my own savegame in the meantime. However, I just wanted to point this out in case it was an unintended side-effect of a bug.

If it is simply because it 'hasn't been done yet', I'd be more than willing to hand over my customizations and config files once they are complete.
