I'm hoping this is in fact not just a coincidence, but alas, it probably is. No use in getting my hopes up.</SPAN>

So I'm not the only one having these? They have been plaguing me so much lately. I hope it will fix it.

Yeah, these have been such a pain for me too. I've taken to copying my longer replies to Notepad before I hit "post", because all too often the message gets eaten by the 502 monster.

A temp fix for those 502s though (only on windows):

1. do windows key + r. The run box should come up

2. in the run box type 'cmd' and hit enter.

3. Windows Command Prompt will open.

4. Then type 'ipconfig -flushdns'. This will flush your dns, obviously.

5. Disconnect from your network, and close any browsers

6. reconnect, and go back to the forums.

This 6-step process always works for me.

30 minutes tomorrow, July 15, between the hours of 9am and 6pm BST (GMT +1)

Ah, good to see your host has giving you a very specific timeframe.

"Plan accordingly" around complete uncertainty. ;)

I'm not blaming you, of course! This is as much an annoyance to you guys as to us. It's just funny.

I'll stay hopeful. :)

I didn't start getting 502 errors until I read that people were getting 502 errors.

Hmmm....

Same here, seriously weird. :D

...but ctrl + F5 fixed it instantly. So no issue here for me.

With the current hype for 0.24 going on and a whole heap of extra traffic coming to the forums I've tweaked some things to help lighten the burden on the server. Hopefully this will reduce the amount and length of 502 error occurences.

@All (except Squad, obviously) Stop posting to this thread! Have you any idea what it's doing to me every time I think "is this the announcement" only to find it's just this! @~|

Woo! Way to go KasperVld! Btw, that quick fix is a quick fix for me because i do a lot of command prompting and batchwork. I made it quick because i made a batch file that does all of those things for me in less than a second. :P
