Nope, I've kept TS out of this install because it plays merry havoc with a bunch of the other mods I want to use. I think it's one of the panels from Near Future, if that gives a frame of reference.

Same problem again. The hangar demands to be this large when launching a relatively small ground vehicle, for absolutely no reason. There's a huge rectangular prism in the VAB that doesn't even remotely correspond to its shape or size.

Do you have a craft file for the ground vehicle, please? As you may infer, I've seen this before, and I'm trying to bring to mind what I fiddled with that fixed it.

I believe this issue has to do with some weird model issues some parts have. If you open the hanger space for the payload vehicle you can remove things here and there to figure out which part is the issue. I don't know how to fix it per se, but I've been able to get around it by simply not using that part. Some have been really bad, making a ship go from 2x2x4 to 30x30x4..

How does the inline hangar work, please? I load a spacecraft into it (using "Edit Content") in the VAB, but once in orbit, there's nothing at all when I open the doors. There's also no option to jettison it (like the Fairing Hangar)... I did notice the docking port inside the bay, but what's its purpose? If I use it, it doesn't reduce the number of parts in the vessel.

In short, I haven't understood the usefulness of this part

Hangar puts a toolbar item up with which you can eject a stored craft from the hangar. I don't use the docking port, but AFAIK it's for convenience - you can use it to hold a ship unmoving inside the hangar.
