If you take a closer look at the KScale64 files, you are doing exactly what this mod does.

I know that. I pointed out the fact that I'd experienced a similar bug because it probably occurs with KScale because KScale uses SigmaDimensions, rather than it being a result of KScale itself.

Oh, you threw me off when you said KScale64 hasn't been updated for KSP 1.2.x. There's really nothing that could be done to update it, since it's just a Sigma Dimensions patch.

Edit: that may have come across as dismissive of KScale64, it wasn't meant to be. I am very appreciative of this thread. There's lots of tinkering needed when scaling up the system, and without the information in this thread I probably wouldn't have a viable 6.4x scale career going right now :)

Mod updated for 1.2.2
This will be the last update I publish for this mod, there are now lots of great resize mods out now and I don't have the time to keep Kscale up to date.
The mod is public domain so feel free to use the files for whatever you like.

Thank you for your service. :)

Can you, or anyone else here recommend good values for SMURFF to make it comfortably playable?

0.5 or 0.6 lever across the board works well for 6.4x.

Thank you for years of making rescaling more accessible to us all.

May I ask if this mod is still working with / will be updated for v1.3? Thanks.

It's just a bunch of patches for Kopernicus/SigmaDimensions configs. The only thing that's required is to take new patches (was posted somewhere in this thread) for atmosphere reentry heating.

Ok, I'm not an expert on installing mods so forgive me.

I downloaded both Kopernicus (Backport, still using 1.2) and Sigma, moved the 5 Gamedata files (4 kopernicus and 1 sigma) into my KSP gamedata folder, then I opened the game and I still have the normal size Kerbin.

Is there anything else I need to do? I've installed other mods before so I'm not a total noob.

I'd really like to try this mod, thanks.

Are you using old Sigma Dimensions too?  You're probably going to have to look through all the Sigma Dimension releases until you find the one that's compatible with your KSP and Kopernicus versions.
