Does this remind anyone of Eeloo too?

While chatting else where. A user posted a link about Europa. Now does this not remind you of Eeloo just a little be. Sure does for myself.

That's obsolete, unfortunately. They've mentioned that there are currently no plans to add more planets.

There WERE plans but SQUAD...

I heard that the idea of more planets wasn't abandoned, just put on the "definite maybe" list. It just depends on SQUAD's intentions. Personally, I think just one more gas giant would complete the solar system nicely.

Yeah, I've always assumed Eeloo is based on Europa for the surface features and Pluto for the orbit.

Yes this is true but they will add another gas planet after 'scope complete'. Of this I am certain.

This may be a bit off topic... but what were the circumstances and reasons surrounding Nova's departure from squad?

Did they have "creative disagreements" - in which case they may generally not have liked his ideas the further he went with them, and we're unlikely to see followups to his ideas.

I'd say new planets are well out of scope for 1.0. Getting the biomes done is the next big step and a new gas giant with a system of moons is only going to slow that process down considerably.

Um, isn't Eeloo based off of Europa. So it's not a coincidence.
