<p>This might go without saying, but would you be interested in KSP toys? Let us know your thoughts in this brief <a href="http://svy.mk/1wFFaIP"><strong>SURVEY</strong></a>.</p>

<p>Thanks to Astronomer for the pic.</p>

A "Build Your Own Rocket" set? Yes, please!

Just a box with multiples of all available parts which you can put together as you like (well... radials might be tricky unless parts have slotted sides) to make what you want.

This. Please.

for the older "kids" why not bring back model rocketry and couple that retro sweetness with the new age quad copters, all of it kerb-style?

i want to put a little jeb in a craft with muh hands... ermrgrd..... little flying lego craft with kerbs inside them.

also, second the plush toys.

I think Plush for kids is a good idea, but I want something for me. Something along the lines of models. Would be cool to buy the Kerbal X kit and such. And creative kits could be made as well with bsae parts and no instructions. Legos for adults. :P

Well...

Make an entire franchise. I mean, if you're making toys, why not the whole thing? You know, official comics, maybe official feature length videos... Etc.

Anyways...

Plush toys of The big three and generic kerbals. Yeah, that's a good idea.

Also, kits if Kerbal X and a few other rockets are good too. Although a "lego" style thing is kind if tough...

plain white plastic 3d prints is good way to go, flexible snaps can be designed into the parts and the rockets snap together, just like in VAB. most Parts can be made pretty cheap to print as shells, material is pretty strong with 3~4mm thick walls. Customer can select the parts to customize their build before submitting it for 3d printing; receive all the parts in the mail and snap them together. After that it's a Color Your Own Rocket. Not to mention Augemented Reality connection.

My suggestion, plush rocket parts with velcro attachment, mini plush Kerbals in the pod, collect the lot and safe for the kids :)

This sounds great. It's also more dog-resistant. My dog has my decimated my kids' plastic army men along with any other plastic figure he can get his teeth on (Smurf Snacks!), but the plushies hold up well. I'm sure he'd love to have a tug-of-war with Jeb. Jeb may disagree, however, as he'd be the one in the middle.

On a different note, maybe KSP water-rockets as well as Estes-style model rockets.

Rather than a toy, what I have always wanted is a KSP mission patch. A real fabric patch, to be sewn onto my jacket. So I can proclaim my love of KSP while walking around town.

If that won't work... rather than any soft plushie doll, I'd like to see KSP Lego sets and KSP Estes model rockets.

If we can get really crazy about it, I'd like some option to 3d print some of my favorite creations from in the game. It would be fantastic to have little models of the Roc and MiniSOAR on my desk.

But little plush Kerbals? No. Little plush rockets? Hell no!

150 dollars?!

I wouldn't even buy a 50 dollar toy. The game costs less. Those options are really ridiculous!

Did the author of that survey just think "Hmm, I wonder how much milk I can get out of this cow?"

I know; in the devnotes thread I wrote:

...I missed the 'merchandising' bit; what I'd like is something I can afford, apart from a bumper-sticker (for which I can't afford the bumper!). Mugs @ £8 are way too much, particularly. Obviously Slideways is nice, but has no chance...

So instead of offering anything cheaper than £8, the options now START at £16! There is simply no chance that I will spend the equivalent of my weekly food bill on a KSP toy.

(however, I will be annoying the *%$& out of US lawyers by possibly offering wood-dowling in various forms "inspired by KSP" at £1 each ...)

This is the sort of stupid crap that lead to my having to buy up all the Buckyballs and Buckycubes when the CPSC decided to play mommy.

Note: the CPSC is not my mommy, and I resent them trying to be.

Yeah, I had to snag a bunch of them too.

I would like to see Lego KSP sets, but that is unlikely to happen.

Why not?

Minecraft has LEGO sets. NASA partnered with LEGO for space sets. Totally within the realm of possibility.

The devs could design some nice sets, and put them on Cuusoo, then post on the forums. In fact, there are already some on there, like this one: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/49675

No, that's not my set, I just like it.
