Have mods gone too far?

I have a small question about mods, like I almost run 30 mods and almost all gamefiles are modified, getting at least 1 crash a day. Since KSP 64 is soup-ier than the default aerodynamics model I am forced to play on KSP 32 bit, but does this have a mod limit? If so when do I know I hit this limit. Or when will it cost game stability?

And 64 bit, I have come to believe you can have almost infinite mods as long as you have enough memory.

Thanks in advance :D

Check your memory usage after you load up, while in editor, and in flight. Keep it as low as possible. Once you hit somewhere near 4gb, you are going to crash/freeze (depending on machines, some can actually be much lower than 4, like 3.5). I am running about 60-70 mods, and I am at around 3GB in normal operation (running in open GL + aggressive texture management + DDSLoader with most textures converted to dds and resized down to 3/4 or 1/2 for really intensive ones) once I hit 3.7 I will crash.

memory usage will usually get you long before any other instabilities creep in from modding. i've had some weirdness and crashes that i've tracked back to mods, but overall i tend to spend 30 minutes memory-managing my GameData for every 1 minute i spend investigating other crashes.
