7.5/10. I love their spaceship design, the ships are awesome. The movie itself is kinda stupid and the plot is a joke, though. And the absolute disregard for classical mechanics (and common sense, and logic, don't get me started) makes the supposed-to-be-most-dramatic moments funny.

As opposed to the anime series Planetes, which is amazingly accurate in terms of physics.

Watch it, seriously.
