    Geostationary Orbits

    Can someone tell me the Geostationary orbital alltitudes for of planets and moons please.

    I happened to be looking for that info too. This is from the Wiki.
    Does anyone know what Jool's GSO is?


    Geosynchronousorbit of Moho is at an altitude of 30,992.300 km above Moho.

    Geosynchronous orbit of Eve is at an altitude of 10,373.195 km above Eve.

    Geosynchronousorbit of Duna is at an altitude of 2,862.702 km above Duna.

    Geosynchronous orbit of Kerbal is at an altitude of 2,868.4 km above Kurbal.

    Geosynchronous orbit of Jool is at an altitude of about 7,000? km above Jool.

    ISA MapSat's KerbalPedia contains geosynchronous orbital altitude information for all celestial bodies.

    Jool's synchronous orbit altitude is 15,010.461 km ( corresponding to a sidereal rotation period of 10 hours)

    Of course, Moho's synchronous orbit is well outside its SOI.

    Other bodies in the Kerbal Star System that have a synchronous orbit inside their SOI as of v0.17...

    The Sun (Sidereal rotation period 5 days, synchronous orbit altitude 1,508,045.286 km)
    Gilly (Sidereal rotation period 7 h 50 m 55 s, synchronous orbit altitude 42.138 km)

    Thank for that, I was wondering about the moons too.
    I wasn't sure if the parent body's gravity would keep the moons from having a GSO.
    At least a usable one.
