  1. I'd have to agree with OP here. Squad definitely has a track record of buggy releases, but following MH and 1.4 it seems like there is a noticeable quality decline IMO. Not to mention, 1.3 and 1.4 both lacked content tremendously compared to past major releases. MH still doesn't have workshop support. Not to mention, the DLC lacks integration with stock gameplay. As for 1.4, KSP has reportedly also been sending data out, which is a big red flag for a fully offline game.
  2. Well whether it means anything or not, they should just do it because of all the outrage it has caused. Primarily regarding the privacy part of it
  3. I'm sure this has been brought up a million times by now, but IMO it would be a big PR mistake for KSP to stay silent. Better late than never. Please avoid turning this thread into a flamewar, thx
  4. pretty much, but with 100-player multiplayer arenas
  5. Like I said, most of the recent reviews are exact copies of one another. That's not normal
  6. But these look like they were posted by spambots. Many of them are identical
  7. Just noticed this on KSP's steam page. What happened? EDIT: It's definitely a spambot, and it appears to still be running. Many of the reviews are exact copies of eachother. Who's doing it though and why?
  8. Interest in spaceflight and coding seem to go hand-in-hand for a lot of people, from what I've seen. Either way, there is another entirely separate subforum for science AND spaceflight.
  9. I'm late but IMO Debian is the best. For what I use linux for at least. For casual purposes, either Mint or Ubuntu (supposedly. personally i don't like either)
  10. create "KSP Royale" and maybe it'll become the next big game.
  11. While it's unlikely to ever happen (and understandably so), it would be really cool if Space Engine or a similar program was made open source or something. That way, people could make their own games/reiterations/etc of it.
  12. Most of the school watched him talk via a livestream. And I was literally the only one in my entire class not playing Fortnite or texting during it. There was a Q&A section at the end and a kid even had the balls to ask him if he knew what Fortnite was. The guy presenting the questions also mentioned that a significant percentage of the ones submitted were related to Fortnite. It just astounds me that you get to see in person one of the few people to have been to space and ask him a question, and they waste it on a joke that is both unfunny and extremely disrespectful. I don't even consider myself the type of person to be preaching respect to people but... Wow. Edit: Oh yeah, and one of my teachers later in the day (who helped host the event) polled the class to see what kids thought of it. The results were.. negative to say the least. The livestream on youtube also got slightly dislike bombed. I'm sorely disappointed. I didn't get to meet him like I was subtly hoping I'd be able to, but he did answer my question which I had submitted, so at least I gained from it. (Just needed to get this off my chest.)
  13. is it just me or has the moderation quality decreased slightly here

  14. Redshell is a data mining service, so Take2 is probably contacted through that.
  15. From what I've seen, it's often a separate company that ports the game to other platforms other than its native one. Not sure if that's the case with KSP
  16. Not going to bother posting mine because it's just pure blackness
  17. I have those too, and so it looks fine from a distance. Only when I get close to it do all the visuals get messed up
  18. I'm trying to create a planet with PQSMod. It looks fine from a distance, but as soon as I get into orbit of it: How do I fix this? 19. Update to 0.2. Now includes Hawking's Singularity in the IKP and Gilly's gravity has been raised significantly.
