  1. Thanks for the awesome mod & all the work & effort you put into it! Just a quick question, is there any way to extend the draw/load distance in the game? Having a missile with a 90km range which vanishes when 2.5km away from the launch craft seems a bit redundant...
  2. For those with unzipping problems, check the filesize. Having the same problem, & it seems like it's not completing the download properly...
  3. I see your Micro VTOL & raise you an even smaller VTOL! Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  4. Small external tank is Mechanical Mouse Industries Satellite Pack - http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/13692-Mechanical-Mouse-Industries-Kethane-Payload-Packs-Released!!! & the mini jet is Taverius' half-scaled one - http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/15348-0-16-Spaceplane-parts-rescales-edits-and-additions
  5. You want Micro-Planes? I got some really micro Micro-Planes for ya... First is a little jet with not a whole lot of gliding ability... And then we have a .5m fuselage unmanned drone with plenty of lift & a nice low stall speed. Also it looks a little like a mouse.
  6. YOU LITTLE BEAUTY! Now I can finally make a C-130 that looks like more than a drooping mess...
  7. Nice work, I\'d just started wondering whether to go to all the trouble myself, glad you beat me to it!
  8. Nice work. The bomb I usually use is this one: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=416.0 With Captain Slug\'s PLF explosive bolt, you can download the PLF set here: http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=2680.0
  9. Very nice, I usually attach my nosewheel to a rotating joint to steer on the ground, but this is much simpler!
  10. 3 sweet little flyers here, all nicely balanced to be stable & maneouverable. A small jet, flies very nicely: A small prop-powered drone, based on the above: A small plane, the smallest plane! Actually flies pretty good considering it only has 6 parts, is able to be landed on the VAB roof, or even on the launch tower if you\'re good... In addition to the stock parts, you\'ll need the following: Probodobodyne: small crew capsule Damned Aerospace: May as well get the lot, they\'re all awesome
  11. The TWR does indeed match, except for the 1m pusher prop, which still has a weight of 0.2, not 1. Not sure whether or not you want to make the props less powerful than comparative jet engines, as that seems to be a realism call, not a gameplay one. However, the fuel consumption on the new C7\'s are 0.3 & 0.4, whereas your 1m props still have a burn rate of 2, making them less useful for flights of any duration. That said, thanks again for all the hard work & awesome parts!
  12. Out of curiosity, are you planning to alter the thrust/fuel consumption parameters to bring your engines more inline with the new stock spaceplane engines at all, or are you satisfied with them as they are?
  13. You magnificent, magnificent bastard. A thousand \'thank-you\'s, this is the best thing to happen to my day ever. Also, it seems the SPH building has a phantom roof...
  14. Just because I love these parts so much, here\'s another aircraft, cross-posted from the thread in the Spacecraft Exchange: The MkII ADD Swallow. In my experimenting, I\'ve come across the immutable fact that if you want a nimble aircraft, you should either make a canard, or a biplane. So I made an aircraft that\'s both. At low speeds(flies best at only 2 marks of throttle) it can turn within the radius of the VAB, as proven by a number of crashes whilst using the VAB as a race pylon. I seriously recommend using a joystick to fly the ADD Swallow, or else you\'ll find yourself laminated to various surfaces at high speed. To fly the ADD Swallow, you\'ll need the following: C7: All of the things Damned Aerospace: 1m pusher prop JellyCubes: Forward swept wing TiberDyne: Launch Stand Kosmos: 1m inverter KW - KW Strut Connector Medium
  15. Hi all, just thought I\'d share with you the most maneouverable craft I could come up with, the MkII ADD Swallow. 16. Or rotary-wing. Either way, it looks cool.
  17. Yeah, it took a while, considering I didn\'t use the asas at all, & it\'s roughly the same size as the roof itself...
  18. Sure. You\'ll need the following: C7: All of the things JellyCubes: Forward swept wing Damned Industries: Robotics & Aerospace packs TiberDyne: Mk3 shuttle RCS nose unit, Launchpad Stand Kosmos - ASAS KW - KW Strut Connector Medium Void Bukerneering - Particle Cannon HSTW - Sunbeam Laser Probodobodyne: Satellite struts Once again, I\'d recommend using a joystick to fly these craft. Especially the Wright Brother\'s Flyer_1, it\'s the most maneouverable aircraft I\'ve ever created, but that naturally comes at the price of straight-line stability.
  19. Welp, it\'s official: Space is boring. Why go there when you can have so much fun at home? Northrop-ish flying wing: Wright Brothers-esque Flyer: God-knows-ey VTOL Enormotron:
  20. I think it\'s because of the way the parts are getting around the 'engine deathray' issue, they\'ll show up very low in the VAB when you place them. Try zooming out & scrolling up, & place it really high, & you should see it appear much lower than your cursor. Placing them with symmetry seems to work for me, placing them individually produces a spin-o-matic craft.
  21. Yeah, I removed that before saving/uploading, as the craft really doesn\'t need it.
