  1. Go free-fall and at exactly 700m, ignite the engine at full blast. Perfect landing every time.

  3. Ah yes the Commandandconqueritis. I myself have come down with it several times,and it keeps coming back every now and then. For some reson it feels like it could burst out at any moment now. Anyway this looks AWSOME! I really like that you went with the old C&C original colors. Cant wait for the downloads.
  4. Jettisoning extra engines is briljant! I need to experiment with this on some of my rockets.
  5. Its a huge self launching space station, and when it rotates like that it creates artificial gravity.
  6. Success! It only took about 150 tries. Liftoff to about 40m/p or 250m rotate 180 degrees and fire the 2 retrorockets at about 130m. Timing and absolute precision in aligning the rocket is crucial. The small fuel tank has some serious issue. If you stack some it blows up and when you try to remove them, it highlights parts above the mouse cursor and wont select the part. The 3 meter fuel tank and X3 metre to 5X1 metre coupler keeps falling of or blows up. Keep up the awesomeness
  7. Very impressive. The shear size had many kerbals claiming it would be impossible for such a monster to ever reach the sky.
  8. Works like a charm in outer space. Don't know why anyone requested one since there is noting to travel to yet. I haven't tried it as an orbital stabiliser but i think it will be to weak to manage, especially a reentry burn. I must say that it looks so fantastik, I will be using it on some of my rockets just for looks. It could also use a different fuel tank, it just doesn't mach up vanilla one i my opinion. If you really want to travel forever I recommend paring it with XLfuelTank. I'm still waiting for that 1965 Chevy
  9. These wing really make it next to impossible to steer your craft. The vanilla wings do this to but not as much. Yes wings should make the craft more stable but it should also make it easier to control, not harder. They look bitchin though.
  10. Wow. One of these took me into a stabilized orbit, full burn for deorbit , successful landing without a parachute AND its still about a quarter full. The overheating tweak sound like the ideal solution. I haven't tried it yet.

  12. I don't know why people are getting crashes but iv managed to travel much further then this. I used EXCELSIOR parts and then left the game running overnight. About the distance the moon is form earth When the meter hits 999999K it just restarts But the total distance is still recorded correctly
  13. Your rocket goes apeshit because the parachutes are still working. They don't disappear they just become invisible. If you launch and deploy your parachutes immediately, you will see the exact same behavior.
