  1. sorry for the late response and not much assistance on my part, but I see you guys figured it out ; thanks @Lisias for the fixes!!
  2. Only thing I've noticed with SVE is that when in orbit of any planetary body the lighting will completely go out or black against my ship when entering or just exiting the horizon where the sun would disappear, it lasts for about 10-20 seconds then all the lighting is applied again to the craft once the sun disappears beyond the horizon of a body or reappears at the horizon of the opposite side.
  3. it would be so amazing if someone could remake these, upscale them or just edit the stars so they're less "blocky" and more pointy.
  4. this mod isn't working for me anymore for some reason, just doesn't want to load. to be specific the skybox isn't changing to whatever I placed into the Default folder. I don't even see the default folder here in this structure according to CKAN but it exists in my actual file explorer...? texture replacer is installed to Z:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\TextureReplacer\Default edit: it looks like ckan doesn't show empty folders.
  5. With TweakScale mod enabled, it is not possible for other mod configs to be saved properly and they must be reconfigured to desired settings every time I re-launch the game. With TweakScale disabled or removed, other mod configs save properly and are persistent when re-launching the game. For example, if I edit settings for PlanetShine or DistantObject mods, the settings changed only work during a single play session. If I quit the game and restart, the changes that were made are lost. Even if I change the .cfg files themselves located in the GameData folder, etc. and save those files, they do not persist when the game launches.
  6. Only thing I have to report right now is other add-on/mod config's saves aren't persisting through game restart. Interesting. Even if I change the .cfg files themselves and save those changes they don't reflect ingame. More interesting.
  7. yeah but I love tweakscale it's so necessary. but yeah if I have to make a few edits every time I start the game bc of tweakscale so be it, it's worth it. thanks for the find though
  8. I am unable to save config settings ingame nor directly from the .cfg file. Could someone assist? I can make the changes via the config file and save the file, reopen it and it is obviously saved, but the game doesn't reflect the changes either.
  9. It happens across any mod. EVE cloud configs, PlanetShine, etc. Mod related or modulemanager perhaps? I'll check with those direct threads, too. Thanks.
  10. Hey guys I'm unable to save changes made to any mod I have installed ingame or via the cfg files. For example, if I go into DistantObjectEnhancement settings.cfg and make the changes I want there, they save properly to the file but they don't reflect those changes ingame. Can someone help me out? Thanks.
  11. I mod games all the time. Fallout, Skyrim, Witcher 3, to name a few. But all of those games have an easy-to-find resource: a modding guide. Not something to teach me how to mod or create mods, but a guide that gives an up-to-date list of mods, dependencies, etc. and how to install them if required. I guess I'm trying to find one of those guides for KSP but I've looked through the internet and can't find anything specific or updated. Can someone point me in the right direction or shoot me a list of their add-ons? I've tried installing and configuring mods for the past two days and I've had to completely reinstall KSP to try and make everything work properly. I just want the game to look pretty with new atmospheres, cloud textures, fog, storms, wind, whatever and hopefully with animated clouds (at least to where they're rotating around a planet) and I can find and install gameplay and parts mods on my own but if you have those, too, bring it on. Please and thanks! edit: added a line
  12. "-force-opengl" was causing my issue.. took this out of the launch options and voila, good fps again. Whoops..
  13. I'm getting a 30 fps max lock on my ksp.. tried using other software to disable but nothing worked, is there a way I can unlock the max fps to something more suitable for my system?
