  1. Hey guys, just got to the mun and Im orbiting it, but I have no fuel left to get back to Kerbin, and I got a bunch of science. Is it possible to have another ship to come and save all my science or refuel my dead ship while orbiting the mun? Thanks
  2. This makes sense. But its really confusing because the speed that shows changes when you change orbits, since kerbin is at 9k m/s orbit around the sun and im at 7k m/s Im still moving in the same direction around the sun just 7k m/s slower that I would on kerbin. Riiight. There should be a way to change which orbital object we want to refer our speed to!
  3. So all objects are moving away from me, refer to picture. However orbit shows 1 thing, Im physically moving in a different direction. Says sun AP 256 days, PE 157 days, however Im physically moving towards AP first and PE last. Really bugged map UI
  4. Alright guys after I read your posts here, Ive made several tests and its DEFINETELY some sort of bug. I ran the same ship over and over again the same exactly way, sometimes it triggers the bug where the torque stops using electricity, other times works fine. For example: I press W and it uses electricity, and other times it doesn't use any electricity at all even though I keep pressing W A S D trying. (which is when it doesn't turn)
  5. I mean: Electricity is on. I know about that, but it isn't that, as I said it was working fine just about a week ago.
  6. I just tried this right now, 1 single fuel tank and the 200 lt engine that helps to turn. The same thing happened, the ship goes totally out of control at about 3-4k kms high, I cut the engine and wait for the velocity to reach close to 0 and I cant even turn the rocket at that time. It will move up to about 15 degrees from vertical position and doesn't move past that, even with engine off completely and velocity at about 0, just before it starts falling. It is something else other than parts and dynamics Id like to add, it was working before just fine, I play this game every now and then for years. Just recently about a week ago it started acting like this. I'm using windows 10 btw, do you think it could be that? Or related ..
  7. Small rocket, big rocket, even tried with 1 single fuel tank and engine, still it looks like its got no torque as the rocket doesn't move. Ive looked on some forums, theres more people with this problem. Does anyone know how to fix it? What causes it? Thanks Edit: Caps lock are off.
  8. Was really cool Good luck and keep it going strong.
  9. Hi, Do you guys wait for the best time to deorbit out of kerbin towards another planet, or you just node in whenever you want to the best of your abilities? Im asking as if you use the time warp function to go as long as 94 days and wait for the best encounter possible, or if you just eye plan your route. Thanks
  10. Most efficient and easy to launch IMO: asparagus built on pyramid shape rocket. The outter ring with 1 tank per engine the quantity of rings depends on the main ship to lift mass
  11. Tried ONCE again to land in Duna AND come back to kerbin with science, to once again fail due to lack of fuel.
  12. I see Scott manly videos and hes got so many options to do things when he right clicks on a part... The only thing it shows to me is infos and stuff. What mod/mods is that?
  13. If you have installed mechjeb AFTER you unlocked the nodes where its parts are, then you need to go to your science tree, and click on the nodes and search for parts that arent yet unlocked in that node. Then right click and a message will show if you wish to unlock that part (purchase that part if I remember correctly)
  14. Heres my point of view: As a new KSP player, but an avid to video games for 10 years almost non stop (mmorpgs mostly); Many MJ functions are good, the INFO ones for new players. However the automation ones should NOT be available to new players, as they dont provide anything but the total loss of interest in the game as it kills all the purpose in learning. On the other hand, I think MJ is great for veteran players, who have done a gazillion of times all of the launching, landing, routing etc, and its become a quite boring process to repeat over and over. So the solution IMO is (if its even possible): Have MJ available to download, but only activate the automation tools on accounts that have proven to be old enough. And this could be detected by achievements (if they were implemented in the game core), or total science points achieved, for example.
