  6. I didn't pull the .dll, i dropped the whole fuel switch mod folder in gamedata folder.
  7. I ran into the fuel switch problem same as everyone. I was able to get it to work after I got the actual fuel switch mod and installed in along side simple construction.

  9. I am so glad you are doing this mod. I love the idea of jump beacons and not warp drives. i am going to have to play with this and figure it out. thanks alot :-) yes pls add the crew roles. The idea of a jump gate or jump station also sounds good.. especially if we are using extra planetary launchpads.

  11. Yes i use UbioZur's welding tool. With the current engines and fuel, it would only be good in the Kerbin system. Of course I encourage you to download the part file and put whatever you like in it.
  12. Kerbin Drive Yards is happy to announce the newest class in kerbal star destroyers. The Minmus-class. This little beauty weighs in at 40 tons. part count after welding is 82. She maneuvers extremely well. Below in the dropbox link is the craft file for the ship pictured and the hull part. very important that you install the part file in the squad structural parts folder. Without the hull in that folder the ship will not work.   13. Yes those are B9 panels.. i have started using stock panels for newer class ships because they can be welded. Helps keep the part count down. But thanks.. this ship took me weeks to get it to this point. New ships will come out faster now that i know what i am doing. :-)
  14. Thanks all... I am currently working on another class of KSD. I am trying the welding mod to get the part count down. If the welding works I will retrofit the Kerbin-class KSD.

I use this mod for extremely large ships, i am talking part counts near 1500.. when i drop the ship on the "weld it" button my game freezes too.. but if you leave it for a few minutes it will come back with the naming window. For me it can take up near 10 minutes to "recompile" the ship to weld, most of that time the game is frozen. Oh and i only weld stock parts... i tried welding mod parts and had nothing but problems.
  16. Kerbin Drive Yards Proudly gives you our first ship of the line. The Kerbal Star Destroyer (KSD) Scott Manley! The ship was named for the individual who got me and most of my friends into KSP. She is over 900 parts. Turns like a slug and comes in at over 300 tons. The Kerbin-Class Star Destroyer is still a being updated. Currently is not armed. The ship will break into 3 pieces: Bridge Section, Engineering section and Cargo bay. No Craft File yet, will work on that soon. More pics to come.   18. @Mrblaq, I tried the suggestion you made. i put it upright and in the VAB.. and PERFECT! one massive hull piece. thanks for the info.
  19. Those are from the B9 aerospace pack.. structural panels. i have been working on a massive ship and was trying to weld the hull to keep part count down and stability. thanks for the reply.. i'll have to figure something else out then.
  20. Hey, First thanks to Ubiozur and Malkuth for making this available for .23. It Is a lot easier then constantly moving files back and forth from .22 to .23 installs. but i am having some problems... maybe someone can help. I am trying to weld this And i get this... and weld this... and get this.. SO.. any idea's would be appreciated. thanks.
