This is great! Do you use the RCS to get it upright for ascent to orbit or do you use the engine and 'take off' like a plane?

And how about it has to be a circular orbit within a certain amount at apoapsis and periapsis? Also, there could be optional variations?

Setup: Two or more players orbit a craft each around the Mun. Play: Determine who goes first. That player reduces their orbit by however much they wish. The next player has to reduce their orbit and it must be lower than the previous player. Win: The last player to have an orbiting craft that has not crashed wins. Anybody want to expand this idea? Could be a lot of fun. Also. a cooler name for the sport? With love to my fellow kerbinauts, Pete.

Sounds like a plan. My own ability to get to and from the mun leaves a lot to be desired so I am actually going to opt out of building one of the stages - however I am super excited to see how this build turns out If anyone wants to jump in feel free

Guys - WOW! I posted this before I flew to Poland to spend Christmas with my gf and come back to find that you guys are awesome as usual The lander looks awesome. Who says there just has to be one project? I would like to see other groups making team builds - would be cool to see. So we have the lander and someone to build the launch system is that right? Nova - can the lander get back from the Mun also? Pete.

Hi fellow launchers, Not sure if this is the right section for this but: Would anybody be interested in doing a Team Build? Player 1) Lunar Lander Player 2) Lunar -> Kerbin Section. Player 3) Kerbin -> Lunar Section. Player 4) Launch to Orbit Section. etc. etc. Ship is designed from the top down with each creator passing on their ship file to the next once they are satisfied. Then all players get a copy of the final ship to try out? Any other cool ideas? Pete aka WindWolf.
