  1. Hah, I figured out a solution - locking the suspension on my craft got the impact to register when I tried again, having changed nothing else.
  2. Still on 0.23 and interstellar ver 0.10.3. I have a similar issue - the science labs generate antimatter when focused. But when they aren't, they don't seem to generaate anything. I got all the way to Jool whilst generating antimatter on the way and not using any (it doesn't have an AM reactor on it), and only got some 30 units of antimatter. Since being focused and performing maneuvers and such, it's generated some 200 antimatter. What's up with that? Also a general question - is 0.11 compatible with 0.23? and will It mess up the save? I just tried it. Same deal - no registered impact. This is the same vessel that recorded an impact on Vall just earlier. I have already tried stopping, then resuming recording already, as in my Duna mission i discovered that it sometimes doesn't register it as being recording. Tweaked the things as much as I could in ways i could think of and still no avail :<
  3. All right, I'm still on version 0.23 I've got a bit of a problem with the seismometer. My craft is on Bop with the seismometer set to record impacts. I drive an impactor straight into Bop at ~740m/s just before impact and nothing happens. Just previous to this I performed the impactor experiment just fine on Vall and Tylo with recorded science. What's going wrong? Is it because Bop has such low gravity that it registers me as not having landed yet or some such? I've tried landing in two other places and the result was still the same - no recorded impact. Yes, my craft is powered. Yes, I am switched to the impactor for the impact Yes, the seismometer is on, etc etc. As mentioned I've done the impactor experiment successfully on Tylo and Vall, and I've also done it successfully on Duna, Dres, Ike, Mun, Minmus
  4. Similar problem here. I'm the guy with the two vista engines, with one's thrust dropping a bit during firing. If i time accelerate, the electric charge will drop briskly for a few sec before it stops dropping and fills back up. this happens at all levels of time acceleration up to 10,000 or maybe 1000, I forget. at 10,000 or 100,000, the charge drops fast enough that it doesn't stop dropping before it all gets drained (and it has some 20k EC iirc), and if i push the time acceleration to max, the kerbal will actually die in the time that the it takes the game to dial back the time acceleration. This is DESPITE having more than enough power for everything. The power currently being drawn in the image is only 5.19 GW from the KTEC reactor and the nose reactor - i have tried running the ship with the nose reactor off by the way - off of an upgraded fusion reactor, so its capable of at least 25GW of output. So now i'm afraid to fly that ship at all because my kerbals just may die lol. Time accelerating from a different ship seems to be ok though.
  5. is it the bug with the presence of direct conversion generators? or does it need to be the one running? Because by default its taking power from the KTEC generator, but by shutting off the KTEC generator, it is using power only from the direct conversion generator and the differential thrust still happens with either generator. Two times, I have loaded back to the quicksave point (image depicts some 30 sec to 1 min since a quicksave point) and, having changed nothing, the thrust doesn't bug out like that. Both times i was watching the thrust in the right click pop up though. Actually, the engine stage was taken into orbit with just those engines, without a hitch, which is odd now that its connected to the ship, this appears. Sorry rambling now.
  6. Hey everybody, Ship is doing something odd with two Vista engines on it. They both fire fine for a while. Then one decides to throttle back by roughly 100kN, while the other stays firing at 1100kN for no apparent reason. I have enough fuel, enough tritium, enough deteurium, enough power (upgraded 3.75 fusion reactor, KTEC on one end, direct conversion on its other end) both generators are on, the fusion reactor is on, megajoules are full, charged particles are full, waste heat is like 1%. Thrust isn't limited below 100%. I am baffled as to whats causing this.
