Hey Diazo, just a normal PR will do, or I can edit them for you if you tell me what files you need me to fix We make a point to try not to force authors to change their packaging: however, if I may suggest you to add a .version file in your releases, then ckan can pick up version information from that. It's most useful for github releases, like yours
  2. Actually, it is our policy to avoid deleting metadata unless there's a really compelling reason to do it. Having metadata for old versions allows users to downgrade to a given version if they so desire, plus it creates a real "archive" of mods and their relative versions. So we'd like to keep the old metadata (the client will install the latest by default anyway), unless there's some particular reason to want those unavailable
  3. Hey, I just remembered seeing your post and forgetting to reply So, at this moment KS integration is only and completely done on KS' side of the thing, and we have no control over it. What's happening is that the awesome SirCmpwn has written a bot that, when a new mod is created, creates a pull request to our NetKAN repository (example) and adds a badge to the mod's page on KS, apparently without checking if we have already accepted the file or not. Older mods have not been added by the bot and thus have no badge yet, althout SirCmpwn has stated in the KS thread that he'll do it eventually. Hope this answers your question

  8. We are going to need some more details: what version of ckan are you using? Could you explain us the reproduction steps so that we can replicate the problem? Also, does it still happen if you update to the latest version of the ckan client? Thanks for your report! I was able to reproduce it, here's the issue if you want to check our progress on it Hi, no, it shouldn't cause any problems, in theory (if it happens, please report it immediately so that we can fix it ). ckan does not verify the integrity of the mod after it has been installed, so it should be safe to remove parts from a mod.
  9. There's a simpler way. Go to the game options in steam: in the "betas" tab you can subscribe to"latest stable version", that will keep you on 0.25 until 0.91 is out.
  10. Okay guys, I confirmed the issue: the build on KS is wrong. I don't have the time to fix it right now, I'll do it asap (or if Coffeeman has 5 minutes to do it, that 'd be great) MTBF and LifeTime are in hours, all the costs are in Spares, RepairBonus and MaintenanceBonus are a fraction (hours / hours) and the inspection bonus is in seconds

  14. See the posts above. You must be using it on win64, a.k.a. "not even the stock game works with this build". You shouldn't use it, or if you do, know you have been warned.
  15. Thank you for your flawless report! I turned it into a github issue so it can be tracked more easily. Thanks! UPDATE: nlight might already have the solution ready. See his response here, it might be caused by ckan launching KSP with opengl by default.

  17. Hey rottielover, that means that a generic exception has occurred during the update. Try again in a while - in the meantime, I'll open an issue to see that error message improved
  18. #hecknope You probably didn't follow the events correctly. They only scrapped the first tier, they did not replace it. The current tier 1 was just supposed to be tier 2. You would have gotten these ugly generic office buildings because squad had decided to make ugly generic office buildings, barn or no barn. Also, don't fret: I understand that we are still doomed to see the barn in the game in the future, much to my disappointment. Be patient, that abomination is still coming eventually.

Sorry for the slow replies, these are frantic days for us since it's obviously the first time we go through an update of KSP So, is the issue still happening? Could you give us more details about ckan's version? I guess you have already figured it out by now, but there should be an "apply" button on the lower right corner after you press the "Go to changes" button I'd like to take this chance to tell everyone that we are not only open to contributions, but also to competition! We'd love to see new applications that make use of our metadata, or our code: the metadata is in the public domain, and our code is under the MIT license. Amaze us!

Because I've been turning into regex since 0.24 was released, except I'm a lot more grumpy than he was: I honestly can't say I enjoy any feature about the contracts system, including strategies. I don't care about their existence: I don't know what strategies are available, I'm not sure how they work, and I have no plans to find it out soon I think there's a mod somewhere that adds monthly fundings, although I can't remember the name right now. I wanted to do it, but then got lazy. It's slightly more complicated than you'd expect, and I am using a modified version of the plugin that just doesn't even tell you how many funds you got, so it's not an issue for me I'm open to patches but I don't think I'm gonna work on this anytime soon.
  22. Hey SirCmpwn, awesome news on both account! I was just wondering if we can get some more details about the CKAN integration: specifically, how and when can the author setup dependencies, recommends, and such? I don't see anything new about the site...
