You are right of course . It is definitely 3rd person, but "2nd person" is an established term in gaming for a chase-cam afaik. And yes the camera would be above and behind the kerbal, much like you are playing an ARPG or MMO ... in space ... with jetpacks. Even though the kerbal's controls would not align perfectly with the camera, I think it would be a very intuitive way to EVA.

Would it be possible to have the auto-balancing legs mod remove the stock legs? I hate having duplicates.

Is there a way to have the Kerbal face left and right (like it does now) but also up and down with the camera? And then a couple keys to rotate, and I'd be a happy camper. Even better would be to follow the camera but from a "2nd person" perspective, so instead of having the camera directly behind the camera, it would be behind and slightly above.

Note: I am on Win64 so disregard this if you don't support it. Does "Ground and atmosphere ambient light intensity" do anything? Moving it back and forth at the launchpad seems to do absolutely nothing, no matter what "ground ambient light override" is set to. The vacuum ambient light level *does* affect the light intensity on the launchpad, though! Also the "Reset" button for Ground ambient fade altitude under advanced doesn't always seem to reset, and I'm not sure it's resetting to the actual default values.

Can you set the desired orbital parameters when you station keep? That would be amazing if so and really help with remote tech.

They'll probably all be dead soon enough. I can usually go about 100 missions without killing a Kerbal though, and like using them as long as I can.

Is there some way to make the orange suited kerbals go into starvation mode? I really don't like this feature, it feels cheaty.

Hm none of the filters are saving for me (the other settings are). When I close the game there are no more rejection filters. I'm on KSP 64-bit compatibility Windows. I click the "save" button? I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Unfortunately CKAN deleted my config when I removed the addon . I may try again, I'll be sure to post whole logs and config if I do.

Edit All appears to do nothing? - - - Updated - - - Also, it is rejecting contracts willy-nilly. http://i.imgur.com/HOBGDCR.png I have nothing set, that I'm aware of, that should be removing these missions for funds reasons. I even went through all the rejection things and set the max allowable funds to be 100000000, and min 0, for every single one.

I'm confused as to how well this works with Karbonite?

Hello, I also have the QuickHide lag. It only happens when I have the UI on, when I turn UI off with F2 the lag goes away. It took a long time to narrow it down to this mod haha.
