  1. Seems to be in better health now so I should get back to streaming soon.
  2. I'm using all the mods listed including FAR... did a test with the craft file and streamed it: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/541510343 Cannot replicate the issue. Need more informations
  3. Managed to load your craft files with the same mods... testing them now on my channel (link in sig).
  4. Thanks Jan. The only one of your mods that I am not using (besides many others... full list in sig link) is InfernalRobotics and RemoteTech... which is not to say they have anything to do with your issue. Just info. I would be very interested to know if anyone else has experienced your issue. Try actually uninstalling Ki's mod to see if it goes away.
  5. Twitch is a complete car crash for me atm and I'm not alone. They are trying to fix my account... will let y'all know anon.
  6. Jan can you give a bit more detail? What mods are you using and have you experienced this behaviour with all ships... or just one? I've tested this mod extensively myself and have not experienced your issues, so it's probably unrelated and possibly something to do with a specific ship design or mod conflict.
  7. Cheers... requires further investigation on my part, clearly. Only other new stuff I was using was Baha's retractable engines and RCS but I cannot see that being a factor. I'd say it was a cumulative memory issue given all the mods I'm using (listed in sig link) but, curiously, I can switch to a different ship in the same instance and the lag disappears. I'm not convinced KSP is very smart about what it loads and when.
  8. I used your big crew transport part on my last ship and I have to say I'm a fan. The IVA is great... although it could use an air stewardess. As an aside... I was wondering what folks' experience has been with vessels carrying many Kerbals. I regularly have instances where I'm using 300-400 parts with no real lag but my quite small crew transport with about 25 kerbals was producing noticeable lag last night. Is the game loading the IVA and all those demonstrative gurning kerbals even when you are not in it or something?
  9. Streaming in a bit. Science Crew Drop-off http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/541203632
  10. I don't actually remember playing KSP without this mod since it was Ki who got me into this nonsense in the first place. Yup, it's your fault. This latest version is of particular use to me in that my eyesight is mullered and the navball was always the hardest thing to squint at... I also use many, many mods some of which have lengthy right-click part menus. Previously these would disappear behind the navball... usually while you were in a spin and desperately trying to click something... now my thoroughly readable navball is nestled to one side. Job done.
  11. Streaming in a few. New Crew Transport Launch - Part 1 http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/540940851 New Crew Transport Launch - Part 2 http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/540944788 Dres Encounter & Supply Ship Dock http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/540950579 Docked http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/540953070 Twitch is playing up lately. Had some drops and my view count has been bugged since the 12th.
  12. Streaming in a bit. Mu-Machine Flight Test: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/540498201 Science Lab: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/540629982
  13. Short 10 minute highlight stream introducing my new spaceplane: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/c/4495620
  14. Streaming in a few. Life Support Resupply: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/539923551 'Mu-Machine' - Interplanetary Lander: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/539936158
  15. Mossman has done a reasonable smelter in a couple of sizes: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/69212-23-Brass-Moustache-Industrial-supply-TACLS-EPL-supplementaries
  16. Streaming in the next 30 mins. Munar Base Activity & Science Mission Recovery http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/539721938 The Science Bit http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/539744391
  17. Any chance you could do us a new recycler Baha? I can't bring myself to use the original part as a waste paper bin just looks odd. It doesn't need to be foldable since logically you would build it at the base anyway once you had set up the other parts. Something like a car-crusher would make sense, although the ideal shape would be circular and the same diameter as your unfolded launchpad so you can fit anything in it. Either way, thanks for all the great parts.
  18. Streaming in the next 30 mins. Just added KSP Interstellar so the priority is to add some heatsinks to my Munar bases. Time allowing I shall also land the second greenhouse. Part 1 Complete: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/539058458 Part 2 Complete: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/539067216
  19. Stream starts in the next half hour. I plan on doing the Minmus return, landing of the first Greenhouse, plus spaceplane launch and assembly of the second Greenhouse. A friend is also playing KSP tonight so the commentary will include our (on topic) ksp discussions. Happy to also take questions from the stream although please bear with us as we may be distracted. Part 1 complete: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/537802583 Part 2 complete: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/537841954 Part 3 complete: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/537854624 Everything went to plan... crazy.
  20. And.... back. During the hiatus I've been re-learning how to build and fly outsized spaceplanes and I now have a new one in service: The 'Delta V'. This uses the B9 pack with traditional jet engines and a rocket rather than sabres or rapiers, mostly because I didn't like the resulting weight distribution with the latter. It can carry 50+ tons into low orbit. Naturally I'm still using all the realism mods, including FAR. Under my new austerity rules this is the only vehicle I'll be using to lift stuff from Kerbin. On the Mun there is a new tanker for ferrying fuel from my Kethane mine to the Shipyard, allowing me to move four times as much fuel in one go. The first of several Greenhouses lifted by spaceplane are en route to the Munar station and bases to make the TAC life support self-sustaining. The atomic propulsion sections used in these Munar transits will form part of my next interplanetary mission to be assembled at the station. I'm operating under the additional restriction that only basic parts should be buildable on the Mun... creating greenhouse plants from Munar ore would have been preposterous. I also did a landing on Moho that produced plenty of science but has left two kerbals stranded with a disabled craft (I ran out of fuel 100 meters from touchdown, broke the legs and toppled over). In theory I could probably save them with some KAS jiggery-pokery and many, many trips to ferry fuel up to the interplanetary stage... if I can secure enough alcohol it will happen. The spare lander orbiting Kerbin was refuelled and sent out to Minmus to mop up the last of the biomes. Having completed two landings and topped up on Kethane it will return to Kerbin in the next stream. A few thousand more science should complete the tech tree at which point I shall re-install KSP Interstellar to extend the challenge. I should be streaming later today and/or this evening. Will post a 30 minute warning.
  21. Streaming shortly. Completed: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/524226969 then http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/524256431 and http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/524264423 Taking a break for a few days now.
  22. Streaming in next half hour. Tidying up after last-night's fiasco... more rocket parts storage required to build a replacement smelter. Completed: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/524013167 Think I need to reposition my mic... will try and sort better audio for next time.
  23. Streaming in the next half hour... may include shipyard relocation, arrival of more parts storage plus the construction and launch of a Munar station depending on how long it takes. UPDATE: Steam complete http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/523739769 Didn't go entirely to plan. Forgot to empty the smelter and it was too heavy... crashed and burned. Happily the launchpad is now safely installed where I want it and I have enough rocket parts in a toppled container to make another smelter. So... epic success! *coughs*
  24. Streaming in the next half hour. Completed: http://www.twitch.tv/seniorslaphead/b/523353049 Long stream tonight and many questions answered. If you are following me and want to know more please post in this thread, it's not just for my announcements. Clearly an issue with my mic at times. It's a very good mic so it's probably something to do with the bit-rate or how much of my bandwidth is left over after streaming it at a certain rate. Will look into it. More tomorrow!
