  1. It appears that Ven merged the pull request that fixes both Kerbcan and MK2 "VA" pods not having their IVA's assigned at all. Another thing that was changed was that the Inflatable Habitat was given a stock IVA placeholder until a unique one was made and assigned. IIRC if you download the mod directly from the master branch on GitHub, you should get the most recent updates before a "proper release". If the fixes for some odd reason don't work, I would have no clue as to why that would happen. When I was making sure everything was assigned correctly before I sent the pull request everything was working properly. All-in-all I hope this will fix the issues some people have been having with not being able to EVA their kerbals, as well as the people that had been asking for the kerbcan to have it's own IVA.
  2. I had the same issues. I, personally, don't know how animations are handled in unity and how to access them in-game, so, in the end, I just commented it of patch files. Once you do that it works just as intended.
  3. This is exactly why I brought it up. I use RemoteTech so that's where the initial though popped up, but now that you say it, it would be nice for the communications update. Also, forgot to put it here original, but thanks for the additional RCS modules! I didn't expect them, so quickly. I figured they would be placed with the next update; it was a nice surprise! Also, might I ask what the top two models are in your picture, especially the bits surrounding the one model? I've tried guessing, but I can't come up with anything solid.
  4. Could we possibly have a SpaceDock link? There isn't a way to download this currently.
  5. Honestly, since I'm the person that uses and says thanks for the parts, and not the person that has to model them, texture them, animate them, etc... I don't think it's my call if it's the same antenna or not. I, personally, don't have a problem with it being the same antenna. The only thing I can see that would come out of making a brand new one in a side module is that it can be modeled and animated to look cool and it gives another option. Though, if you make another antenna with different stats, say, a little bit under what the current one is capable of, then the player may feel s/he doesn't really have a choice at all since they'd have to use the "Core Antenna" to get the best stats. Now, that was probably a bit out there, but I've seen people say similar things in the past, so I thought I'd bring it up. Also, about the, "another omni rather than a dish?", one reason I'd like a side mounted antenna module is so I can use it, and the humongous dish at the same time, as well as have a small engine on board to boot. Trust me, you can never have to many options! Thanks for, what I perceived as, offering to make the antenna module. I was just spouting ideas, but it's awesome to add another toy to the pile of options we can already choose from. Side note, if I perceived wrong, then I'm sorry... Last bit, I swear! One thing that I forgot to mention earlier is how the M900 mesh dish could totally be altered to make the coolest dish in the world. It would have to be a new model and have some fancy animation, but I'm picturing something similar to the mesh transmitting dish on the MUOS satellites. The other, smaller, mesh dish is for receiving signals from the ground. Having something like that would be absolutely freaking amazing... Once again, totally rambling... Keep up the great work, man! 6. We need to have another download link since KerbalStuff is no more. Try SpaceDock.info
  7. Nope, the install you see there is 32bit, a very heavily tweaked install. Almost everything that goes in is edited in some way, shape, or form to allow it to actually even start. I do have 64bit install, but I haven't played with it in a few days. Truth be told, I've reallyyy got to trim down some mods in the 32bit install due to the amount slowing down the game. Currently, though, I'm using the 32bit install while testing to try and stop any rogue bugs that may try to showing their nasty head while I'm playing around to get a general first impression of the mod. Doing so gives me a "foundation" to go off of, if you will. This way, should I play the 64bit and use your mod, I already know what should happen since I played with it in 32bit. So, should anything out of the ordinary happen in the 64bit build, I know it has to do with that, not your mod. Trust me, I get the whole 64bit bug thing. My basic rule of thumb is to just not post any bug reports if they happen while I play in the 64bit build. Anyways, I'm done with my rambling. Looking forwards to the 3 way RCS! What I meant by an antenna in the side block, I meant something more along the lines of this picture:
  8. Can we get a SpaceDock download link? Can't seem to get the file due to it being only hosted on one site... which just so happened to stop service. I highly recommend having more than one download link, say SpaceDock and Dropbox / Google Drive. Can't wait to try them
  9. Would there be any interest in making and including an Antenna side block that has the same features, or maybe a bit altered, as the Core Antenna? Also, possibly a Tri-RCS Block to go along with the four-way? As it stands now, if I want to include RCS in a dual-stacked probe, either the top or bottom port will be firing into / onto the probe itself depending on where it's placed.
  10. I already have the mod, but it needs to be ported to SpaceDock since KerbalStuff shut down. Without doing so, I don't think there's another download method, though I may be wrong. Edit: Never mind, I'm blind. There's a bitbucket link, but it would still be nice to have on SpaceDock so people can utilize the follow functionality.
  11. When I downloaded your mod, I saw that there were multiple MM files in each part folder. I went and cleaned it up a bit by removing all patch files in each folder and put them into their own folder, and allocating one file for each mod that needed it's own config to properly work with it's intended mod. Basically, reduced the number of files, and tidied things up quite a bit. I did this for my personal installation, but if you want, you can use them if you'd like. Here's the link where you can download and check out what I did. In that file, I also reduced the textures from 1024x1024 to 512x512 for everything as the models + textures aren't that detailed. All in all, the mod size went from 10Mb's down to 3Mb's. If you would like me to remove the download link, just shoot me a message. I primarily linked it so you could check out the patches to see if you wanted to use them so as to clean things up a bit. Have a nice day!
  12. You, my friend, have a very, very nice mod on your hands. I look very much forward seeing how this evolves over time. I'm a sucker for satellite mods... AIES, BoxSat, SSR MicroSat, and now, this. Thanks for another wonderful addition to this list! I didn't see this before my post.. You just made me even happier!
  13. As was mine, forgot to look there for a bit before I actually woke up.
  14. Does anyone have a download link for the capsule and additions? Since KS isn't here no one can get the files...
  15. He (SirCmpwn) never offered any way, shape, or form to donate; or much less help in any other way possible... so that is completely invalid.
  16. I don't so much see snipping, just frustration... I don't see a reason to jump the gun.
  17. You may want to join the #ckan IRC channel. A replacement seems to be in the works.
  18. Dude, seriously, QFT! I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way.
  19. KerbalStuff has been down as of late, so I'm currently unable to download this pack. You may want to have a secondary provider for cases such as this. Here's the KerbalStuff thread. It's not just me either, it's been on and off for a couple of days now...
  20. The archiving ability KerbalStuff has is to valuable to lose, in my personal opinion. Another thing that that I love is the emails I get when a mod updates. I don't have a ton of cash at the moment, but I'm willing to put some down to help the hosting costs. It'll have to wait till next month sadly due to how paychecks work... If @SirCmpwn would tell me where I can direct the payment, that'd be swell. Edit: Well, I just noticed that SirCmpwn hasn't been on the forums since December 9th. That's no fun...
  21. At this point, it's rapidly approaching 24 hours. It may already have, but the previous number is from when I first noticed it.
  22. No, they do have their own IVA's, they're just not set in the config files. I found them and have been trying to figure out something else before I make a pull request that'll also include them.
  23. After watching the video with engine, I can't wait to have a functioning build. Man, even a pre-release with everything not yet finished would be nice! If everything else is of the same quality as the engine, then this will be absolutely amazing.
  24. Don't know why it doesn't work for you... it works exactly the same, changing the defunct values to the proper values.
