  1. Pol, Gilly, Tylo or Moho, Pol- Low gravity and barely any flat space. Gilly- Reasons listed above. Tylo- Hard to land on and not much to do (looks like Mun). Moho- It eats your Delta V and not much to do (genuinely, the surface looks like a potato skin. The reason I didn't include Eve is that the view is beautiful and there's a view to be had.
  2. The Noobedonian Space Agency. Don't even ask (btw, it's because Prince Of Noobedon (again, don't ask) was my old gaming name).
  3. Can anyone help with hab modules for space stations?
  4. I do, surprisingly! Also, the user below me is a pessimist about Skylon.
  5. With enough testing, we will probably find an SSTO design that works. The fact that there aren't any yet is because it's still under development and also due to the fact that the Space Agencies care little for SSTOs at the moment (seriously, Skylon has had peanuts). Also, ground-breaking because, well, SABRE.
  6. Even then, Skylon is ground-breaking. Even if it doesn't work, it may influence designs that do work. Anyway, Alan bond has 30+ years of experience in SSTO design, I think he's nailed it with Skylon.
  7. Don't worry! I had the same problem. In order to dock you've got to cancel out your relative velocity. You do this by firing in the opposite direction to your current direction relative to the target. Next you've got to maneuvre towards your target by translating with your RCS. The you just kinda... dock.
  8. This is excellent news, but I believe that Skylon is Far Superior. (cost-wise)
  9. OfficialNerdCubed did a Let's Play. Immediately googled it and saw HOCGaming's Channel. Pretty sure it was That's No Moon!. After bingeing KSP Videos from people like Macey (sadly gone for the moment) and HOC I asked for a £20 Steam voucher for Christmas. Downloaded it at 6AM and managed to launch my first space station (Kalyut) into orbit by 12 O'Clock. 150 hours later I'm still loving every second of it.
  10. Let's see: Forgetting ladders Forgetting launch clamps Forgetting to stage correctly Used the highest time warp on way to the Mun Forgetting to add docking ports to the Hubmax Multi-point connectors Getting into orbit before realising that Jeb IS THE ONLY ONE IN YOUR SUPER-COOL Space Station.
  11. No inline? I am disappointed: It is by far the coolest looking docking port. Incorporating it into my new SSTO so that I can have the Space Shuttle reminiscent money shot:
  12. CYANIDE Flavoured ice cream sandwich (although it actually contains morphine (a lot of it). Have a nice day!!
  13. Designed an awesome looking SSTO, more than capable of orbiting at 80km. Re-entering? It turns out COM is behind COL, so Jeb was giving an incredible (if unintentional) air acrobatics display consisting mainly of flips and weird yawing culminating in uncontrollable spinning.
  14. I joined after, so negative. The user below me is a Batman and Robin (1997) fan
  15. Your suggestion would be the best scenario ever! Defo need this as a more challenging scenario to get more advanced players playing them
  16. I use the 0.17 update to ward it off.] I throw Eve (added in 0.17) at the next poster
  17. Skylab. Anything that is made from Saturn V is superlative. Also, I know the person who provided technical drawings for it! (seriously, no joke)
  18. "Its not the fact that it will be added, its How its going to be add, though mods, once again another person that doesn't understand that it should be in the base game to make it have more depth to the game instead of just being about building a rocket, getting to a planet and gaining science." -Seldion If you actually READ the devnotes (reading the whole article is obviously high on your agenda, considering the number of times you've shoved it down our throats) then you'll find that they are implementing contracts and reputation into the stock game in the next update. In fact, there's even a contracts page on the wiki (if you didn't believe me). Also, you didn't follow my words of advice: now there is no chance of me ever siding with you if you continue with your attitude to people's views on the matter.
  19. It be foolish: use Mars Direct instead. At least have some sort of abort system rather than just leaving them there.
  20. I deny the accusations. The user below me loves pork chops
  21. False. The poster below me has stranded a kerbal on the mun
  22. False. The poster below me has built an SSTO
  23. "COM behind COL? No problem!" Me moments before Jeb did one of his famous fake-death routines on my new SSTO.
