I think someone tried to dig a hole through the center of the planet, but left the project unfinished. the high points are the mine tailings.

one of the mapping beams seems to be bugged - you can see it in the attached minmus map, especially the green lines on areas that otherwise appear purple.

doesn\'t matter how much you brake (or break) as long as your kerbs survive.

I have an idea that this might be possible. brake by smashing the lower parts of your ship into a mountain. the capsule must stay in orbit. points for highest speed / lowest altitude impact.
