  1. Yes I\'m still here. Unfortunately I\'m still waiting on the config files to be finished. The model has been done for some time, and is just waiting to be assembled as parts As for an ISS... It\'s huge, and I\'m pretty sure there\'s already options for it. Perhaps when and if Docking is properly introduced, it might be cool to make a modular ISS that you can then assemble in parts.
  2. Yes please! I\'ll send you the files May\'be it\'ll actually get finished
  3. Updated, sorry about that, got a bit muddled, link should work now and i added a change log. Basically split Kublab into smaller parts so you can mix and match.
  4. Updated KubLab to modular. No panels yet. My config maker is le tired. So either I learn to play KSP so I can work out how to make parts and attach the solar panels back on, wait until he has a nap or find someone else to do it. Sigh. If anyone\'s interested in joining forces to implement my models, let me know. Also finished modeling and texturing the KER-111 Excelsior, but again, can\'t put it together until I can either learn to do it myself or get someone to do it for me. Here\'s a quick render so you can at least see how it looks, It\'s comprised of a command module, decoupler, fuel tank, engine, wings, control surfaces and a drop tank. I\'ve split everything apart, just need to get it into KSP and working together.
  5. Well it\'s not going to fit in a 2m fairing, because Kublab is just a bit over 2m wide without the dish. We\'re looking into getting it to fit in a 3m faring, but are having a lot of trouble with the dish which is too big, and I can\'t work out how to fold it in. Here\'s what I\'ve got so far (it\'s just a sketch more than anything), The main solar panels are folded using a landing leg config and pop up (which is the easy bit), and Kublab\'s dish would have to be modified to rotate into position over the hatch (which would mean the dish would have to be a landing legs component), but then the panels still stick out. I can\'t fold the panels inward either because you can\'t attach landing legs to landling legs. It won\'t fit in the fairing unless I can somehow modify those dish panels to fold....which I can\'t. Any suggestions are welcome....please
  6. Yeah it is. I\'ve been a bit lazy. I took a wee bit of time to work on unwrapping someone else\'s rover, but that\'s finished now Had some trouble getting nice flowing lines, but I think I\'ve sorted it out, here\'s a WIP for those of you who like updates
  7. Is it really a necro thread? I\'m still working on it and people obviously still have questions and comments? Um, not sure how to make it modular...I\'ll harass someone into helping me
  8. Glad you guys like it. Will be making a few adjustments over the next few days and then will release an updated version.
  9. Sorry about that, meant to copy it somewhere and accidentally moved it. Give it a go now
  10. KubLab Space Laboratory A Kerbal-sized Space Laboratory that can comfortably house three Kerbanauts, for science! To be honest, I haven\'t really played KSP, built this for my boyfriend to tinker with. I buit the mesh as per the instructions on the wiki and he got it all going inside KSP so I assume it\'s all good Thanks to the Down Under Aerospace peeps, for the Kubble, which inspired it and your config file which we may/may not have 'borrowed' to get this working ;P Updates to KubLab: - Adjusted texture - Split into Dish, bottom, middle and top in modular pack Work in Progress: - Write KubLab plugin for folding to fit in 3m fairing - Add solar panels to modular version Download KubLab 1.1 (Single Part) NEW: Download KubLab 2.0 (Modular - No Solar Panels Yet) Coming Soon: KER-111 Excelsior Update: I\'ve finished the model and textures, but I\'m waiting for my boyfriend to put it together. He just modularised Kublab, so it won\'t be for a wee while. If anyone knows how to assemble a space plane and can\'t wait for me to do it, let me know and I\'ll send you the files I\'m very interested in Arca\'s E111 project. Perhaps it\'s just a sense of national pride. I am planning to make a modified version for use as a space plane. I realise that it\'s NOT a space plane, but I am going to take a bit of artistic liberty and pretend the actual rocket is a drop tank so you can send the plane into space.
