  1. Hey guys, today i need some help ! There's not a lot of people playing in x6.4 size, so getting help from existing post is pretty hard ! So basically i'm trying to make an SSTO capable of getting crew to a 200km space station, but it's not easy ! Even though i'm using SMURFF, the Delta V is VERY hard to get, so i went with a RAPIER + Wofhound design and i manage to get ALMOST enough Delta V, but i'd like some tips if you guys can do it easily ! My second issue come when i try to reenter, Deadly Reentry just slowly destroy my ship at about 80km even when i reenter at 40°, that's very frustrating, so what setting should i use for x6.4 size (5.5km/s orbital speed) Thank you guys for helping me, and if you have other tips, i'll be happy to hear them !   3. Hey guys, i'd just like to know if there's a mod working on 1.4.5 that gives us the probes before crew cabins in tech tree, i've seen mods for 1.3, 1.6, but no 1.4 Thank you !!
  4. Yea, but it still a difficult thing to do, SpaceX stopped considering this because of conplexity i think, and i'm pretty sure only the shuttle used it.

  6. Hey guys, i just dowloaded some new mods (KAX and Texture replacer) and i got the classic GameData folder, and also an "Extras" folder... Where should i put this ? It's content in GameData too ?

I'm not making any existing rocket, but i really like the look (and lifting capabilities) of BIG boosters using liquid fuel engines, and with those mods, it works great ! i use a timer that set the main engine thrust to 40% after 40 sec (to keep high TWR at liftoff) and when the boosters are empty, a ressource detector sets back the main engine to 100% (thanks to Throttle Liit Extended) It really works great, and the main stage burns for a very long time without using unrealistic fuel lines !

Hello, i'm currently doing a rocket that work a bit like the Falcon 9 : boosters kinda the same size as the main stage So i'd just like to know if there's a way to lower the main stage thrust when the boosters burn, and then turn it back to 100% when i drop the boosters. I'd like if to be automatic (with stage or timer etc...) and i'm playing modded, so no problem if it's a mod. Thanks a lot !

Hey guys, i'm playing ksp for a loooooong time no, and i'm interested in installing RSS/RO now, so i'd like to know where i can find ksp 1.3.1, i even looked for cracks (shame on me) and i couldn't find ONE Thank you, maybe i'll repost things here if i need help further in the installation !   13. Hello ! Just a simple question to everyone who make mechanic things in ksp, with bearing, etc... I know how to make folding legs in THEORY, but i'm new to this, so it takes me a long time, so i just want to know if what i want to make actualy work, and if you can give me tips or advices, that's even better !   17. Yea, that was pretty much impossible, i'll try to shop you a picture, i mean, i COULD, but i'd like to keep the "plane" design (if you have any solution after i show picture, that's PERFECT ^^)

Hey guys, i'm currently designing a BIG VTOL lander (600 T) that look like a plane , so perfectly unsymmetrical and i'd like to know if a mod can balance the fuel AROUND the center of mass, OR , if it doesn't exist, a mod that adjust the throttle to balance the craft ( i'd prefer the first solution, as for now i only have 2 engines, and it would be difficult to adjust power for landing.   21. Hey, i just found the solution, if you are ok with editing some files, (at least for LT-2) You need to set the "restPitch" in the ModuleWheelBogey section to about 100, it sets the foot of the leg almost parallel to the ground
  22. Honestly, I removed eve from my list, way too hard to land on (and take off) with a small MkII spaceplane, same for tylo i think, but for the rest i should be ok, got about 5000-6000 m/s, i don't think i can reach safely those two planets ^^
