  1. Due to life, all projects are currently on hold.

Good luck bud with what happened. I had a recent breakup while developing my newest planet pack in years and it was bad. Hope you will come out of it alright, no pressure to continue around here. We love you bro.

  4. A rather strange question to planet makers - is there a PQSMod you'd like to see added to Kerbal Space Program?

If so, what would it be called, and what would it do?

      SmartCanyon

      Would create canyons. Paramiters:

Depth = how much would the base of the canyon vary up and down in meters

Jaggedness = how jagged should the cannyon's edges be

Lacunarity = how large should the base of the canyon be

Smoothness = how smooth should the transition at the lip of the canyon be in percents. 0 would be straight up down while 100 would create smooth hills downwards while a minus would make the lip be slightly upwards before descending straight down intot he canyon

Randomness = the chance in percents for one canyon to break up into more "cracks"

BaseJagged = how jagged should the surface of the base be

Just my idea :) would be so useful in many more cases, not just canyons since it could be used for really easy mountain generation by giving the 'Depth' paramiter a minus value.

  6. IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF MY MODS

Hey again, Kerbals. I have a confession to make.

I've reached the point where I have just too many planets to work on, where I keep darting from planet pack to planet pack because they all deserve updates, but end up getting nowhere at all. Therefore, after a lot of thinking, I've decided to do two things:

    1. I will be making a schedule for what planet pack to fix in what order. Of course, planets may move up or down on this list depending on the severity of potential bugs.

    This schedule is as follows:

    Spoiler

    1. Planet Cerillion

    2. Evolution

    3. Stock Planet Expansion

    4. C# mods (INSTANTIATOR & PQSMod packs)

    5. Arkas

    6. Planet Cyran

As you can see, some packs are missing. This is because:

    2. I will discontinue some of my mods.

First mod to get the axe is Total Rebuild (...and Cyran may follow in the future). I'm terribly sorry for discontinuing some of my mods, but right now there is just too much to work on.

Ayy thank you man :D glad to see we're not losing a team member. I should REEEEEALLY start doing the sketches for the new parts

    Tagging @Galileo, @amarius1, @Gameslinx, @ProtoJeb21, @KillAshley, @CaptRobau and @GregroxMun. As planet mod devs I think this may interest them.

Note how Kittopia also picks it up.

Yep, tutorial on how to make PQSMods imminent.

Damn this will certainly be useful for my future projects, friend!

Too bad I can't use it in Kerbol Origins as it is already mostly complete but it will certainly featured in my next pack.

  9. Currently creating a spreadsheet to compute a majority of the config file of a planet automatically, up to automatically generating a majority of the atmo curves and creating a basic config file that can easily be copied-N-pasted into a text editor for further editing.

I'm now making a generator for temperatureAxialSunBiasCurve, which definitely has the most complicated formula's of all of these curves.

It'll still take quite a while to finish it, but it should greatly speed up the generation process of realistic planets.

Special thanks goes to @OhioBob for explaining the complicated yet fascinating subject of atmospheres to me.

Beautiful! I have used KillAshley's generator up until now...

Now that is weird... Try installing just Kerbol Origins alone with Kopernicus and Module Manager and see if it happens again. If it doesn't, start gradually adding more and more mods you had until it starts happening again. Or maybe it's just a KSP glitch... Or a memory hog. Check your Task Manager to see if you have enough RAM. If teh game uses just bellow crashing RAM it gets weird bugs like this.

Strange. Tell me your mod list, send KSP.log.  that's the only way I can attempt a fix. What is odd is that this issue was never reported before and during my rigurous testing of every planet during creation, no such bug showed up so it's definetely something on your side unforcenately :(
