  1. well, there is no real difference, possum can also refer to the australian marsupual but here we're just referring to the ratlike north american one. it is technically opossum but possum is easier to say
  2. This may be the most important thread you will read all day :Y the virginan opossum is one of the few known north American marsupials and have many unique anatomical properties, including: hands with opposable thumbs feet with opposable thumbs a large ratlike tail resistance to all kinds of snake venom and rabies pouches that give them the nickname "clockbellies" (ill let ya work that one out ;P) large mouselike ears big pink noses I love these ratty lil garbage babies and id like to know if anyone else has some cute possum pictures or perhaps a pet opossum my favorite repository for all things opossum -->http://www.opossummypossum.com/
  3. in my head i like to think the oscar b tank is made of like, a cross section of a pipe or somethin cheap, so itll be nicely tiny but fairly heavy. basically a tiny tank for use with retrorockets or short range sattelite deployment
  4. i dont know is this is experienced by everyone but ive noticed that whenever i get a hovering vehicle moving faster than about 80m/s, it has an annoying habit of stopping the repulsors and the craft smashes straight into the ground. i have been trying to develop things like podracers and fast over land vehicles but they always would crash when i got to a deacent speed. i have noticed from other people's videos that podracers made with foundries will work perfectly fine on those who have high speed computers and crash like i described on ones that arent. i dont know what this is caused by or how to fix it, having no experience with mods in ksp other than installing them, but i at least have determined it has something to do with framerate and presumably the mod being unable to load the repulsion against the terrain at a certain speed.
  5. bit of a problem here, I was using lots of mods and suddenly I found that the new sp+ parts in .25 don't work properly, more specifically the flaps don't work. they stay totally static. however when I use the unchanged parts not from spaceplane plus like the canards and deluxe winglet, it works like normal. I know its something to do with FAR because ive restarted the game several times with random mods uninstalled and far seems to be causing it.
  6. ive searched through every single one it seems and they all rely on krags planet factory which has not been updated. even when they say it works in .24 and I install it with krags its still a big mess of missing textures and certain planets looking like a disaster at the fanblade factory. half also seem to resemble bloody cottonballs as they have a solid red and white gradient instaid of a texture and look positively nauseating. anyone managed to get them working?
  7. ooh, good, I was gonna be annoyed if it was like 50 or 20% returns, I kinda want sstos to be useful :U
  8. release schedule or timing on these are odd, most daily posts don't come up until the very end of the day.
  9. retexturing sounds good, to be frank, the mainsail looks like trash compared to the newer stuff, a weird rigid steel bell and orange painted combustionchamber, it is a bit out of place alongside even the skipper with this huge thing out of the way i'd like to see the smaller stuff getting worked on aerodynamics, water, weather, more science systems? i had an idea a while back to have science systems that incentivise the use of rovers or planes and exploration, possibly meaning simply more biomes or perhaps scavenging for things over the surface, anomalous terrain scatter or watnot either way, budgets is a real game changer here
  10. again its really best to download ferram aerospace, way better physics ive downloaded it and its lovely physics are a bit odd but more reasonable, aerodynamic shapes not arbitrarily slowing in the upper atmosphere ya know.
