  1. Do we know what will be in update 1.3? I have not heard anything and the dev blogs are void of information. The old planned features http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Planned_features page is dead. Anyone heard anything or any timelines?
  2. I finally got a chance to test this. I Did it with about 3600 with a not very aero dynamic rocket! Much better than the 4300 I was doing before. That should save me a lot of kredits. And thanks on the Space Planes advice.
  3. Thank you both! I have been looking for better information on this but could not find it! Any advice on space planes accent? Did it change a lot too?
  4. What is the optimal ascent profile in 1.1.2. I know this change in 1.05 but I have taken some time off and now getting back in. The old Delta V maps put orbit of kerbin at around 4500. However some of the newer maps I see put it as low as 3200! I can do it now at about 4300 or so doing a 5-degree turn and keeping under 200m/s until 10K meter, Then slowly going to 90 degrees and full speed after 10K. (the way Manley used to say) but how on earth do I get to the 3200? Space plane?
  5. Depends what you want to do. If you are going to land on the planet or just hang out for bit. If you want an orbit and then want to leave soon #1 If you want to get in close or land try to get in close on your entry. #2 Scott Manely has a video on that somewhere that explains it but Starhawk is right. Try to get your orbit where you want it from the get-go.

  7. I spent 3 hours trying to make a working Jet with only the first science Aerodynamics unlock. With small planes this is difficult. Make sure your COT is in line; it looks like it is slightly lower than the COM. That will make you do back flips. You have to zoom in but this is the best help I have seen. Also, try tilting your wings back. When looking at the plan from the side have a 20-degree pitch moving down toward the back of the plan.
  8. I looking for a glossary for all the terms in KER. I know alot of the terms and how to use them but some I don't. It seems the ones I don't know do not have a description in the game when you click the question mark. Any suggestions on where to look?
  9. How do you hook these up to your KSP? High jack an old keyboard? or something more complex?
  10. Some times when you play a mod you just think how is this not in the vanilla version. Just out of curiosity why can't squad strike a deal with some of the best mods?
