  1. Guess that's what in the SRBs...
  2. If it would be at all possible to make a functional stargate with this that'd be amazing. Your awesome multiplier would probably increase by a solid ten if that happened.
  3. Anyone know if it'd be possible to make a bipedal version of the Critter Crawler? 'Cause I really wanna make some Mech-suits for my kerbals.
  4. That will cause issues with the more modules you have, especially if it has an actual engine on it. Worst part is, the tiny-est offset can cause uncontrollable rolling under power. My experience with modular ships (or other modular things meant to move) has given me two good solutions with radial modules: 1: Have segments on the central module to allow stack docking to be parallel, this may not be terribly pretty, but it gets the job done symmetrical radial modules. 2: The only other successful I've had with this is to build a shipyard (it can be a big tube with docking ports up and down it, but a skeletal sci-fi type shipyard is good if your worried about separated modules drifting away). If you dock the modules with it and go to KSC and back, everything will be lined up pitch and yaw wise. For a station though, make the shipyard mobile so you can tone down the lag when you're done. Best I got for you.
  5. I downloaded this yesterday and none of the kerbals are getting ribbons. My first kerbal to orbit got nothing but an extra thing on his mission count. Just to be sure something was wrong, I popped a command on the runway and plonked a flag right beside it to try and get the first flag on kerbin ribbon. Yet poor Mitsy was simply given another tally to his mission count. I am using 64 bit ksp 24.2. If need be I'll list the other mods in my folder.
  6. I'm using v6.1. I also downloaded it yesterday after googling it because sometimes I'll be digging for five minutes before finding the mods I want.
  7. Yes, I am using the SCANsat version of Karbonite. I am using the latest versions of both mods as well.
  8. Whenever I try and start scanning for karbonite, the SCANsat map just gives me the no data display and the detector just seems to fail to start up.
  9. This here is my wonderful shipyard. I spent something around 2 hours building it and the launcher. Not as pretty (or big) as I originally planned because I needed to actually get it into space.
  10. I do believe you are correct, although that is only active time, but walking would take nearly two months of active time. Still though, most of us have friends, family, jobs, food, and bills to deal with. And with whatever you have left as free time, probably isn't gonna be all ksp (or games in general), and I doubt I'm the only one here with a massive space program filled landers and colonies to land. p.s. if I seem rude with this reply, I don't mean to be.
  11. Well, Scott Manley did prove that there are ways (cheating ways, mind you) to fling yourself at Jool and be flung back at a tenth the speed of light.
  12. You do understand this challenge would take something in the ballpark of fifteen years, right? I mean, it took Wookiee six months to do the same task with a rover averaging at 30 to 40 m/s. Kerbals only run at 2 m/s, and they swim at half a meter per second.
  13. I just hope that whenever the Mk. 2 engine is added, that it looks a bit like the engines for the Talon fighters in Stealth (and is basically a RAPIER engine)
  14. Would it be possible to make a part that allow, say, a tank battalion to fire their guns at the target? I was screwing around and thought this would be a nice idea.
  15. Are Kethane, EVE, or Dmagic Orbital Science an issue with this?
