  1. My only problem with this mod so far is my total lack of skill in ship building. I have a hard enough time with planes, much less a VTOL. Otherwise it is awesome. Even down to the color.
  2. And installing Karbonite doesn't mean you have to suddenly go mine for it.
  3. ?? I have transferred things with the logistics hub that don't have ILM's
  4. sorry for the delay in responding. I actually got it sorted out. Thanks for the follow up though.
  5. This is pretty much my concern as well. You have a mod where the author and license holder has been MIA going on a month without any updates at all. Compounding the problem is the restrictive license which makes it impossible for the community to pick up the ball and move the mod forward without the express permission of the author. So in this state it makes it difficult to know what the future will hold. I am grateful there are those who were willing to patch it up, but there is little incentive to do much more than basic bug fixes.
  6. I was just thinking about this over the weekend. Given your mods reliance on KAS (MKS in particular) it has to be a bit disconcerting when that mod's situation is in such limbo. Not so much just the licensing, but the licensing makes it difficult for the community to pick up and keep the mod going when the original author is MIA.
  7. I was just thinking the same thing about the Freight mod (re:64bit)
  8. I don't know. I was never really sure what was full of bees. But I have tested it fine this weekend. I figured, but wanted to try anyhow. I envisioned a cool scenario where an orbital station failure caused all kerbals to eject and get to the surface, where then the local ground base could go pick them up via rover.
  9. Help me! I've used my DERP's a few times and haven't had any issues in 24.2, well except realizing they don't really have enough fuel to safely get a kerbal from my mun station onto the surface. What is the bee issue with this little guy?
  10. Argh, I've watched the video at least 20 times, pausing at key locations. Not sure how I missed that. Thanks for your help Donzi and finally noticing. I was starting to feel like one of those people that keeps bumping a thread over and over.
  11. Since I just poked you over on your MKS thread I figured I would add some additional information that I have tested with. I have tested with a clean install of KSP 0.24.2 I installed only packrat, KAS latest version with the DLL fix for 0.24.2 (32 bit first). I tested and got the same results. I then removed and applied the 64bit DLL fix for KAS and ran 64 bit KSP and had the same issue. I have found that if I drop the front chassis on the ground, I can attach the front to the chassis. But I cannot connect the front and back chassis together since neither has an attach option. Assembled it is one of my favorite vehicles in KSP. It was instrumental in assembling my Mun base. I just had to do an additional launch to bring an already assembled packrat. My Duna expedition would have to wait a long time for theirs unfortunately
  12. Hey KAS experts. This may be outside of the scope of this mod, but I am trying to troubleshoot a situation that involves KAS so I figured this might be the best place to ask. I am having an issue with some parts that are not giving the Attach option on the menu. When I pull the parts out of a container The only options I get are drop and release. I know these parts worked prior to KSP 24 By the way I am running 24.2 32 bit and am using the patched DLL from this thread. KAS seems to work fine otherwise.
  13. Just an update with pictures. As you can see I can put down a pylon and the front section. But the chassis sections are missing an attach menu item. Not sure how to troubleshoot.
  14. So I take it then that you missed the part that said the Velociraptor 2 is not as fast in the atmosphere as the 1? Cause I took that to clearly mean you can't pull up and climb as fast.
  15. Dang, I stream for the first time tonight and actually get followers. Now I'm getting quoted in threads. First, I will say Wanderfound has a great knack for excellent spaceplanes. They are extremely well designed and better balanced than anything I have been able to make on my own. That being said, it does by no means make them easy to fly. They are extreme high performance designs and IMO have a small margin for error. I have humbled myself plenty learning to fly them Just because for example, a Bugatti Veyron is an amazingly engineered supercar. It does not make it easy to drive. And plenty of people have learned that the hard way
  16. Hey guys, I'm having an odd problem. I simply cannot build the Rover via KAS. I can put down a pylon. I can then put down the front, just like in the video. But the chassis section does not give me any choice to attach. When I grab a chassis section I only get the option to drop or release.
  17. Honestly nothing really has to be said. Just by looking at the current information. 1. Majiir, Kethane's developer last posted in this thread on July 17th. Granted he said he had RL issues and granted temporary rights for others to maintain compatibility. But since then he has been MIA. 2. With nothing being heard in over a month, it becomes difficult to know what the future of the mod is. Again I am sure he is busy, but to not even drop a line (hey guys still swamped, but I will be back. Or hey guys looking to pass the torch for the mod to someone else) makes its future unclear. 3. Given the licensing nature of the mod, it makes it difficult to impossible for the community to continue the mod forward without Majiir officially passing the torch. I commend those who have taken the time to patch it up in the short term, but long term it starts getting fuzzy. I would guess that if Majiir remains MIA long enough this mod with whither on the vine. Darn shame really.
  18. Try and find out? Quicksave and burn. It is close but it seems like you could maybe pull it off. It looks like that 10m/s of dV you need puts you really low on kerbin. You only need to get down to around 40km to aerobrake. At that height you will have to do a number of passes but you will eventually land without needing any more fuel.
  19. As others have said, your timeframe between post and follow up is extremely short, impatience. If you really want more answers post in the mod thread not here. People who watch the thread are those who develop it and use it. If you cannot follow the basic tutorial on the wiki, this mod may not be for you. Part of the fun of KSP is learning and experimenting. Launch some parts and figure it out.
