[0.25] SRBuild - Build your own modular SRB [0.5]
PatPL replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Beta Update 0.2 has been released! - Added Separator tanks (Tanks with small engine) - Balanced SRB's (they were too weak and too heavy) Pictures: -
Many languages have words, that can mean few different things, like rock(music) and rock(just a rock) Word from your language | Meaning1(English) | Meaning2(English) etc. I'm first, so: Zamek | Castle | Lock | Zip

[0.25] SRBuild - Build your own modular SRB [0.5]
PatPL replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
SRBuild has one major problem: Parts count. Every segment, engine, nose cone is counted as individual part. Your Science BOX idea is good, i'd create something like one-kerbal lab combined with The BOX, or even unmanned lab(with lower science multiplier), and 4 crewed lab giving more science output. Great Idea -
[0.25] SRBuild - Build your own modular SRB [0.5]
PatPL replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
OK, my fault, I didn't ever noticed that something like PP even exists. Benefits: Boosters have included separators, you can stick some other parts to booster(inline), you will be able to choose from different shapes(more different nozzles or aero parts) in future. -
[0.25] SRBuild - Build your own modular SRB [0.5]
PatPL replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yes, that's the idea, in future you will be able to choose from various engines, sizes etc. -
HI! Do you use Boosters to push your rocket through Kerbin's atmosphere, but you aren't satistied with those 3 stock SRB's? This mod allows you to create your own booster! CURRENTLY THIS MOD IS IN BETA AND WILL BE UPDATED QUITE A LOT. MANY THINGS CAN CHANGE! Parts info: Diameters: Small(1.25), Medium (1.6), Large (2.0)* * - coming soon Pictures: VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrjGZ2culXM DOWNLOAD[0.5] Licence: Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) You are free to: Share  copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format Adapt  remix, transform, and build upon the material More at: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ Changelog: 0.5 - Gimbal Nozzles 0.4 - Small size engines (look at 0.3) 0.3 - 4 new medium size engines (Atm, Vac, Power and Isp) 0.2 - Added Separatron Segments, balanced SRB's 0.1 - Initial Beta release! To do: - Even bigger diameter parts - More specialized engines (ATM/VAC/POWER>ISP/ISP>POWER/GIMBAL) - Aero nose cone with separator engine - Parts shaped like Atlas V or Ariane 5 SRBs Currently i'm working on: Nose cone with separator If you have great idea too, POST IT HAVE FUN!

PatPL replied to BlackDragon Korean's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Do you want this like add-ons in game or just models? -
Is it me or .25 is less stable then 0.24.2 for modded ksp?
PatPL replied to Kar's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
New spaceplane parts "Eat" some more RAM, so it's less left for mods. -
Thanks, it's really motivating.

How to create engine fairing?
PatPL replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Modelling and Texturing Discussion
Fairing works fine, but it's shown in parts tab with engine together -
Hi! I'm creating simple add-ons for KSP I'm not the best, but hey, everyone started somewhere, and I think, i'm still getting better. I have a question for You: What new addon/update You want me to do next, and which one of my mods You like most? I'm asking, because i just want to know. You can choose more than 1 choice in poll.
-
Thanks! I love modelling, and i'm still making progress, but textures... well, it's still better than always (1 color "texture"). I'll try to improve it somehow.

Hi! Do You find 3.75m parts very big, and uncomfortable? 2.5m rockets are too thin and too weak? Me too. TriMetre company has the solution: 3m parts This Part pack includes: - 5 fuel tanks in different sizes (Micro to Large+) - 2 Adapters (See picture above) - 2 engines (See picture below) - Aerodynamic nose cone - SAS - RCS tank - Decoupler and Separator DOWNLOAD[1.0.2] Licence: Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) You are free to: Share  copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format Adapt  remix, transform, and build upon the material More at: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ Changelog: 1.0.2 - Added fairings for engines 1.0.1 - Hotfix 1.0.0 - Initial release

Landing on Minmus, Eve or Duna is easier than on Mun?
PatPL replied to PatPL's topic in KSP1 Discussion
But you have 100'000x time warp, that shortens waiting to few seconds -
Ok, so: Landing on Mun: - 4400 deltaV for LKO - 850 deltaV for Mun Intercept - 750 deltaV for Mun Landing - TOTAL: 6000 deltaV (my record is about 5550 deltaV with SSTM plane) Landing on Minmus: - 4400 for LKO - 900 for Intercept - 280 for landing - TOTAL: 5580! Landing on Duna: - 4400 LKO - 950 Escape velocity - 140 Perfect collision course with Duna - 0 Landing on chutes - Total: 5490!! Landing on Eve: - 4400 LKO - 950 Esc.Vel. - 100 Collision course - 0 landing - Total: 5450!!! In theory we should first fly to Eve, then to Duna, and then Kerbin moons (if You want to land)

Speed electric generator?
PatPL replied to SlimeCrusher's topic in KSP1 Modelling and Texturing Discussion
I think You need plugin for that -
I removed it, but if You want, i can re-model, and add it again.
-
What do You think? It's almost better than first one. I'll try to improve it. (It's my second try with textures like this, first one can be seen THERE)
-
I'm very curious what's in this broken picture, could You repair it?
