  1. Would it be possible to create a config that would swap the Kerbol System with the New Horizons/Uncharted Lands/RSS system? That way we can start in our custom system and visit the Kerbol system later.
  2. If I can manage to be as efficient as you I'll be able to complete the Super mode easily.
  3. You think your ship was overbuilt? Mine had 16k Delta-V and I nearly ran out of fuel! I really need to plot my trajectories.
  4. It's a gas giant, so no. If you attempt to land on it, your ship will be crushed by the intense heat and pressure. However, you can land on the moons safely.
  5. Do I also need to hide the pictures showing the orbit of the planet? Also, do I get to right to put the flair in my signature?
  6. Okay. After way too many tries and fails, here is my entry for the Difficult Mode. I used Kerbal Engineer, to know the Delta-V, as well as DMagic Orbital Science, just so the probe had some instruments on it. Here is my craft, the Pouchequine Stellar Explorer, on the launchpad : Liftoff! Beginning gravity turn, while jettisoning the lower boosters. Surprisingly stable. The large mammoth engine is released In space, getting rid of these two engines. Getting ready to open that fairing. Fairing released! Here comes the transfer stage, it will travel from here all the way to planet 6! While burning to get out of Kerbin's SOI, the Mun gave the ship a little kick A second gravity assist near the Mun kicks the ship straight out of Kerbin's sphere of influence Adjusting the nodes to get an intercept with the planet Burning! For one hour... Here we go! Now, I just have to wait for the ship to arrives, and it takes a long time... A really long time... After quite some time (I couldn't find a working timewarp mod), the probe finally enters End's SOI. Here, things started going bad. Very bad. I was planning to do an old-fashioned capture burn. However, after burning, I realized that it would take 60 YEARS for the ship to arrive at it's periapsis. And I think that's a bit too long, so I reverted. To circumvent this, I played around with the shiny blue node I never use, and I adjusted my trajectory a bit. That stupid nuclear stage ran out of fuel, so I had to use the probe's engines. The one who designed it was really stupid. Oh, wait... And guess what. The probe ran out of fuel too! And my apoapsis was really close to 10 million meters. Fortunately, I still had some monopropellant remaining, so I used the RCS as a form of propulsion for the probe. The following pictures reveal the planet, so they are hidden under a spoiler. So here you go, this is my entry for the Difficult Mode. You can see it only took about 10-11 years to enter a stable orbit around End, and the limit was 15. The ship on the launchpad had about 16k delta-v, which is my personal record for a ship. This is also the very first challenge I ever accomplished and recorded. It was quite difficult, but in the end I feel like it was worth it. So, do I get the right to put that Difficult Mode flair in my signature?
  7. Could it be possible to have a separate download containing smaller versions of the planets ? Kinda like the Kerbol system, where everything is 10x smaller than it would be in real life.
  8. There is something I have been wondering for a long time : Are Clauselle and the others really aboard the ship? If yes, how did you make them remove their helmets in space? Or are they actually on Kerbin, in a big cockpit, and the pictures are taken in such a way that we don't notice everything actually takes place on Kerbin?
  9. I don't think that is Jebediah. As someone already pointed out, "Jebediah" or "Jeb" cannot fit in the space for the name. Also, did anyone else notice it said "Bell receives a warning." at the end? Did I miss something?
  10. Today, I landed a really cool-looking base on the Mun. I really appreciate how it looks like a "space house". I've come a long way with designs. Tell me what you think about it! I also sent a probe to Neidon (No pictures, sorry...). It'll arrive at Neidon in about 24 years. I plan to land it on Thatmo, where it'll measure the atmosphere and stuff like that. But the biggest new is that I found my old save file! I looked for it for so long, and I finally found a working copy of it! That'll get me back into KSP for real!
  11. You sir, is truly a genius. I have over 500 hours of playtime and yet, you're better than me. Admit it, you work for the NASA! You are on your way to becoming one of the best KSP players that ever was, and in a few months, you'll do a 50-kerbals grand tour with ease! Definitively following this thread to see where this goes...
  12. There's a simple fix for that. Open Eeloo's moons' config files, and under "referenceBody", set "Plock" instead of "Eeloo". It's really easy to do and doesn't takes more than 2 minutes.
  13. Today Kerbin was feeling lonely and got super-jealous of Jool's moons... So she stole every body lighter than her in the Kerbol system And this happened : At least Kerbin isn't lonely anymore. And she also stole Tekto's atmosphere so now Kerbin has a 100 km high atmosphere. That's gonna make my KSP sessions a little more...original. Loads of bodies to explore next to home, but super dense atmosphere and SOI intersections won't make it easy. And the night sky. Just imagine the night sky.
  14. Oopsie I meant .dll file. The icon is a notepad thing, so it confused me. So I deleted the other .dll file and replaced it with the beta3 file. Still not working.
  15. *sigh* So I deleted the KSP folder, cleaned everything, made a clean install, downloaded HyperEdit 1.4.2, placed it in GameData, downloaded Beta3, placed it in Kerbaltek, deleted the other config file...and it is still not working! What did I do wrong?
  16. You'll soon find out, Chapter II will be released later today! EDIT : I have a few problems with HyperEdit so I'll to wait until the next stable version is released.
  17. I really like the "Graphic Novel" style some mission reports use. So I thought, why not make one myself? I have an original story idea, which I think could be interesting. This story is based in a mediocre space center, with poorly trained pilots, but something is about to change Kerbalkind, for ever...This is going to be much more story-based than mission report-based. I am going to try not use the original four (Jeb, Bill, Bob and Val), because I think they're overused. Also, this is my very first mission report, so do not expect something as good as Plan Kappa. If you think something needs to be improved, simply tell me, and I'll try to fix it. I am using KER (For informative purposes), Scatterer (Because it's so pretty) and Hyperedit (Will be used for story purposes). More mods will be added in the future, but revealing them now would spoil the story. Anyways, onto said story! Don't get too hyped, Gene. So that's the first chapter of my little story. If you like it, I'll try to make more! Leave feedback if you have anything to say about it...
  18. I tried that...still not working... That's really frustrating because I need HyperEdit for a Mission Report I'm making.
  19. I installed HyperEdit, placed the Kerbaltek folder in Gamedata, then replaced the .ddl file with the beta file, but nothing happens and hyperedit doesn't shows up when I press alt+h. How can I fix this?
  20. I didn't play KSP, but I instead started thinking and preparing a future comic-style (Like Plan Kappa and A Jool Odyssey) mission report I will probably start soon. It'll be about...Space Travel! But not the kind of space travel you expect... EDIT : Here it is !
  21. The mod's version is linked to Kopernicus's version (I think), and since Kopernicus was updated to 1.1, in theory the mod should work. And you know, what prevents you from testing it yourself? Just make a test savefile and install the mod !
