  1. Use a program like paint.net (I know that paint.net can edit .DDS files)
  2. Beware though, I believe it causes a huge memory leak that crashes the game a ton.
  3. Well, sorry to say this, but [Moderator removed defunct website link] is a mod that does this
  4. You can just exit to the main menu, no need to re-open the game.
  5. Go to the main menu, there will be a settings option. By the input tab, I meant the tab/button that says Input on it.
  6. Why are you posting in blue? And of the settings: Go to the main menu Settings 'Input' tab 'Vessel' tab In the 'Key/Button Bindings' box Scroll down to the 'Wheels' section Change to arrow keys
  7. Sorry for a late reply, but I assume you basically mean remove it from unity, re-import the model and set it up again, then re-export? I'll try that this evening!
  8. Not enough time to see if this has been said yet but: don't try to act like a moderator
  9. And if you want to model parts, start with a free program like Blender 3D (some claim it is hard to learn but I never had a problem).
  10. Can't see the pictures right now, but I'll check back later. How good is it at ramming through buildings? Does it explode nicely?
  11. I would prefer it be more like that you have to do them in order at least once, you can't just buy the game and go straight into an orbital rendezvous tutorial.
  12. It is neither a typo (unintentional error) nor bad writing style (american english is not the only way of writing things!)
  13. Just reassign the rover keys to arrows. It's what I did and it works fine.
  14. I think they meant more along the lines of that 1 tank was being drained by all 4 engines because they could all draw fuel from it.
  15. I meant that in my local copy of the mod, ramJet.mu does not have a space in it. It didn't in the config file either.
  16. On my local copy there is no space. I will update the dropbox one now. No animations.
  17. ramJet gameobject > ramJet model > thrustTransform gameobject
  18. I jsut think that using mechjeb hardly counts as piloting a plane.
  19. Right, I jsut tried something else, and it didn't work. I have a ramJet gameobject, that is the parent of the ramJet model, that is the parent of a thrustTransform gameobject. I added the Part Tools component to the first gameobject. I gave it the model name of ramJet. The file URL is in the part folder of my mod on my computer. The texture format is MBM (DDS was not an option).
  20. Well, in KSP.log I found: [WRN 15:45:54.365] Model load error in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\VramJet\Parts\Engine\ramJet\ramJet.mu' Output log had this: Model load error in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\VramJet\Parts\Engine\ramJet\ramJet.mu' Dunno why. Outdated Unity or something?
  21. Which log should I be checking? How to bring it up? Or do you mean a file?
