  1. i know the small 'flying' return capsules tend to have a parragliding parachute, to produce lift and compensate for the poor wing lift. is this possible to make in KSP yet, or do parrachutes only reduce kinetic energy in the direction of travel?
  2. RELEASE DATE PWEEEEEESE AWESOME THINGS DESERVE TO BE PLAYED WITH. thats what she said
  3. THIS...IS...AWESOME!!! ME GUSTA!!! :D
  4. CONGRATS ON MAKING IT TO THE OFFICIAL KSP MOD BOARD http://www.kerbalspaceprogram.net/kerbal-space-program-mods ONLY THE VERY BEST MODS MAKE IT THERE. (well, not only the very best. you can be sure that the mods there are bloody good. but there are many more mods that deserve to be there.)
  5. Also, don\'t have rcs jets on the underside of the ship. The shuttle never had any there cos of the high likeliness of a breach during reentry. Whittle had two either side pointing down-and-out. With the one on the otherside counteracting the sideways motion.
  6. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODE!!!!!! So pretty. Please have rcs in it. I\'m annoyed when awesome models have painted on ports that do nothing.
  7. The people have spoken!!! It shall be done!!! ;)
  8. Absolutely love this model. Love it!!! Couple of things. Commenters have said that if you added rcs, it would mean that the ship would be composed of to many small disks. But you could made the engine a bolt-on engine, like most other engines, with no addition to structural shape. That would free up one stage, which could be replaced by a rcs tank. And then get the overhanging dummy rcs jets on the decoupler to be radially attached rcs jets. Then there would be no more disks added. I hope I explained myself there. It\'s hard to describe the engine bolt-on thingy I\'m thinking of.
  9. strange? it said that it had been posted at 5Pm, and when i posted, it was 11:30pm
  10. So, what is the future for this mod? i cant realy see how it can be improved cos its just so damn awesome. the only minor fault currently is the parachute solar panels, and they cant be de-spag-afied until animations are implemented.
  11. been a fair few hours, has there been a problem? or should i check back in the morning?
  12. A week, a month, a year? Just something realy vague please. Also, any chance of a teaser screen shot?
  13. wow that was a fail on my behalf. but i find (any many others too) find that scaling up the properties of the launch vehicle does no real damage to stability i have already tweaked the values and it is very balanced currently. the only problem is the fact that the noyuz doesnt sit pretty on top.
  14. so when is the update coming out? also, can it be scaled so that it fits either the 1m or (i think) 1.5m attachment decoupler of the fantastic noyuz mod (http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=4088.0) having such a wonderful launch vehicle, like this rocket, and such a wonderful craft such as the noyuz, would absolutely make my day
  15. is a little fugly, but the things been made and thats all that matters. its good, i did want this, its just not pretty
  16. I too have this problem also, I found it went away if I used a different pod, or parachute.
  17. While true, it never actualy became so entangled in culture. You think of America, you think of Apollo and space shuttle. You think of Russia, you think of Sputnik and Soyuz. Culture just embedded these notions within us. If the Russian space shuttle had succeeded, which I forget why it didn\'t, then things may have well been different. But it well established that Russian attitudes and mentality is white different from the American one. I once heard quoted that one time, one of the Apollo scientists were showing a Russian scientist how they had developed a defribilator to work in space, and how they had overcome all of the problems. And the Russian scientist said in response 'in Russia, we just send healthy astronaut into space'
