  1. Or is it just Americans realising how far they are behind Mexico? http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-35736435 compared to... Peace... Edit - realised this should have been in Science Forum. My apologies (please move!)
  2. Hi @Nils277, Are you planning on testing against the 1.1 beta before your next release? Peace.
  3. To be fair to most people out there, I am a steam user and will probably look at the game at 1.1, however mods like KER are essential for me, and I'm guessing mods will take more than a couple of weeks to update. So even though I'll have access I'll probably still work on my main save in 1.05 properly. Peace.
  4. Well, what do you know. I found a copy in my previous version mod download folder. Sorted! But I do hope that it gets picked up and developed/updated! Peace. EDIT - I found it in my .90 mods, and loading it 1.05 the core (spindle equivalent from DSEV) has its attachment nodes in need of doing whatever nodes need dealing with after a particular ksp upgrade in the past.
  5. I see what you did there... and congratulations Steve! Peace.
  6. I'm sorry to hear that. Thanks for the heads up though and not leaving us hanging! Peace.
  7. Good idea. Also for it to be tweakable so it alerts on certain contracts and not others. Peace.
  8. Great to see another fresh idea - a habitat would be fairly obvious. How big would the docking bay get - would you be able to fit in a small SSTO spaceplane? Peace.
  9. He should take his helmet off then. Problem solved. Peace.
  10. I'm looking for a mod that would be able to implement a particular axis orientated spin on a craft and maintain it at a specified RPM. Take for example, the Endurance by benjee10, http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/90036-104-endurance-from-interstellar-090-beta-finally-updated-no-craft-files-yet/, which was constantly spinning on its axis. So that idea would be that no matter which direction of the part which the 'control from here' is set to, the craft would continue to rotate in a particular way. This is a little different from the excellent PersistantRotation by MarcusA380 http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/102277-10x-persistentrotation-102/&page=1 but perhaps complimentary! Is it possible? Has it been done (and let me know) Would someone be willing to investigate/ create a mod to achieve this? Thanks, Peace.
  11. What is sad, is that sarcasm doesn't translate well by typed word You would think that anyone who might complain about devnotes being delayed would have learnt from the issues that the community has experienced over the weekend. Complaining about some delays resulted in a major contributor throwing in the towel and people being hurt in the process. To the credit of those who have been the most, there is a generosity of spirit beyond comprehension, to which I am eternally grateful. Peace.
  12. I'm pleased that we get any Devnotes at all! Thanks for keeping us in the loop @Badie! Peace.
  13. Completely agree with Benji. It would be nice to have parts with the 'beaten up' and scratched looked made to look new. Given that some of them were find on the side of the road, they must have come from somewhere! Peace.
  14. I like this idea. Whilst inapplicable parts don't show up depending on life support mods you have installed I don't know whether they load anyway taking up RAM. It would be good to have a little pick and choose. The containers and converter models are definitely the best out there.
  15. Wow - this is awesome, and several forum users have asked for it. Can't wait to try it myself for my return from Duna. Pleased to see you've considered and avoided a possible clash with PreciseNode or hopefully PreciseManeuver! Peace.
  16. I wondered just before when someone would mention this... Is steam workshop able to host for non Steam installs?
  17. We should also thank and credit for making sure that KerbalStuff was open source to be able to recreate his work. And thank him for the few thousand dollars he invested of his own money too, not just blood and sweat. Peace.
  18. Agreed. Curseforge is the way to go rather than straight Curse. The upset over Curse does seem to be as bad as te move to Steam many moons ago but with KS's viable alternative and simplistic way to join we didn't get over it. People should goggle it. Peace.
  19. Mistook the top down view as the CM not the lander. My mistake! As an idea, why not make the lander a muffin top and extend over the lip of the leg (and fuel tank I guess) section? That would give the possibility of a window to look down from when landing. It wouldn't have to extend beyond the width of the landing legs. Or as a thought, make grooves in the tank for the legs to sit in before deployment. Another groove could allow for the downward window. Peace.
  20. Going back to look through a previous thread in the General Forum, some comments were nasty and quite ungrateful. We all (general community) are to blame. Peace.
  21. CKAN may not be the only issue people Nils277 noticed that several other non affiliated sites (with advertising and malware) linked directly to the downloads of his mod on KerbalStuff, possibly others, and often linking to older versions of the mod. This was all done without consent and it took some time to dig it out, I think there wasn't a solution to block it. My guess is that if bandwidth is the issue, others, not CKAN is to blame - or perhaps certain EXTREMELY popular mods get updated will cause issues when people take their weekend... KerbalStuff is opensource, anyone could make a copy of it, then pay for their own bandwidth, donate their own time, and maintain it as they see fit. I do think it is telling though that many mod owners choose to host with Kerbal Stuff as opposed to Curse. Perhaps Curse give Squad a kickback on advertising revenue or there was a large one off payment in exchange for several years official hosting rights, in which case Squad, regardless of how we feel, is probably tied up contractually to Curse for some time. We'll have to tough it out. Peace.
  22. Looks good. Do you have source inspiration or is your concept? How will the iva look? With windows symterically opposite it looks that they aren't forward facing?
  23. ... I've not seen this asked for before, but given that we music will start on atmospheric exit, and mods that will take photos at significant events, I'm sure it is possible - even if it a pause in the game with a flyby from the object you have entered into the SOI of to the ship, though the 'windows' of a POD to a portrait of the Kerbal smiling, or something similar when landing on a body... why not! Peace.
