  1. Downloading from the store will always give you the most up-to-date version available. As for whether you keep your saves, you'll be able to back them up (make a copy of your save folder(s), which will be inside the Saves folder in your Kerbal Space Program install as folders named what you named the save file) and then copy them back in to keep your saves. Do be warned, however, that the game may not be able to properly parse the older saves. Sometimes changes made in updates break the saves a bit, and while they might load, they sometimes won't run without some truly odd glitches. If you do experience any weird issues, the first thing you'll want to try is starting a new save, to see if that's the cause. Good luck!
  2. Many people are so opposed to change, I find it hard to imagine any kind of change that would be received well, sometimes. It's just a change. And to be frank, the old embeds were very inefficient performance-wise, for whatever reason. Though it's hard to tell for sure from just one, it seems like they've been at work on that. As for the appearance, it could definitely do with being bigger, but I can't see why it ought to be black at all, and the layout is quite straightforward and very much sensible, if a little lackadaisical with regards to some of the spacing. Give Kaspy a chance, fellas. As he said, he's still poking it with a stick. It ain't even the final form yet, give it a bit.

Seeing as I don't follow any kind of sports, that was certainly very obscure to me, haha. Not bad at all
  4. Look at these fancy guys, remembering when they became a real moderator. I haven't the foggiest smidgen of a clue what day it was when I got a PM asking me if I'd be alright being a moderator. I said yes, and about five minutes later I discovered some new forum functions to play with. About fifteen minutes after that I got my proper intro. But what date it was? Who knows. Long ago, in the mists of time. But anyone who's been around long enough to know me before I was a moderator knows full well I walked the line of backseat moderation many a time before that.
  5. The removal of the 64-bit client is only for the Windows distribution; Linux users will still have access to it, as always. For whatever reason, Linux seems to handle the x64 builds much more cleanly.

This one at first seems to be about combat and weapons... but it also makes me think of music. An instrument? A score?
  7. You shouldn't need to create additional posts. If you need to link to specific sections in your post (to make a table of contents, or something like that), you can use the goto and line BBCodes, like so: [noparse][goto=tagname]This is a link to the line marked 'tagname'[/goto] .... [line=tagname]This will appear as normal text, so you can format it as a heading or what have you.[/line][/noparse]
  8. Yeah, probably best to ask him. I can't see anything that would restrict you in that way, and I'm not even sure if vBulletin would have such an oddly-specific feature.
  9. Banned for your part in that awful April Fools gag. Ninja'd. Banned because you got to ban Red instead of me.
  10. You can edit it yourself in your profile settings.
  11. Oh, you childish plebeians. I refuse to sink to such an atrocious level.

It wouldn't be the first time we've had to lay one aside. It's probably time to do so again, I'd say, judging by the befuddled looks being tossed around. Whether or not you reveal the answer is up to you, though.
  13. Actually, the colliding with runway and/or other KSC buildings glitch tends to be very odd in that only the front-most wing parts get destroyed (and sometimes it's even very oddly specific about what kinds of wing parts get obliterated).
  14. Interesting. Alt+F5 should be performing that function. You might want to check that your keyboard doesn't have the Alt key stuck or broken in some way. (Alt+F9 should allow you to load a named quicksave, too.)
  15. It's a possibility, but since all previous attempts at doing anything more than minor modifications to the existing style have ended quite terribly, I can't say I like the chances of being able to do it very well, if at all.
  16. There's a bit of a glitch where you can't set KSP to a resolution higher than your system-wide resolution; you'll need to increase the resolution settings for your computer so that KSP will be able to use the higher resolution as well.

I'm a bit out of the loop, so forgive me if it's already been guessed. A hard drive?
  18. You don't get full access to custom action groups until the VAB is upgraded to at least level 2 or 3 in Career mode, if that's the mode you're playing in.

I'm gonna have to step in in a few days' time if it's still just Starwhip and GoSlash batting back and forth. Some other people will want a turn eventually.
  20. Well, that was a weird one, for sure. Hmm. Oh well. Ze case is closed!
  21. I'm seeing over 16 pages of threads over here.
