  1. Hello, I've encountered a bug in KSP which is very frustrating. When I try to dock two ships, it mostly goes off without a hitch. But sometimes, now the second time, The two ports just dont attract to each other, and although i'm perfectly aligned in every dimension and theres just a about no space between those 2 ports, they dont have that magnetism that pulls them together. It just sits around in space doing nothing. Although these two times I've had that particular issue first appeared in a modded install (kerbal alarm clock + Kerbal engineer) restarting the game with a unmodded install has no effect. The problem remains. A friend of mine has also encountered this issue. We both used .90 (beta than ever) in windows 7 64bit, 8 gigram. Thank you for your support in advance
  2. Well it needs to be able to dock and therefore have a commanpod/probecore. But you just need that, not more.
  3. The Challenge is to destroy one building from the KSC (except for the runway/Launchpad) using the least amount of effort (Mass, Cost, Speed). You have to launch A vessel as cheap, light, and slow as possible, but still capable of destructing a building. Rules: -No mods -You have to destroy anything you want but the launchpad and runway -No Bugusing (infinity-glider, ladderpropulsion, etc..) Score: -Mass: -<500t 1p. -<250t 2p. -<100t 5p. -<75t 8p. -<50t 12p. -<40t 20p. -<30t 40p. -<20t 75p. -<10t 100p. Speed: -<1000m/s 1p. -<600m/s 3p. -<200m/s 9p. -<180m/s 17p. -<150m/s 26p. -<125m/s 37p. -<110m/s 49p. -<100m/s 61p. -<80m/s 75p. -<60m/s 90p. -<45m/s 110p. -<30m/s 150p. Cost: -<500000 1p. -<300000 2p. -<90000 5p. -<65000 11p. -<50000 15p. -<35000 25p. -<20000 40p. -<10000 56p. -<7500 74p. -<6000 100p. -<4500 200p. -<3000 1000p. - Any Kerbal dying in the process scores 10p. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Of course it's impossible to gain all points in every category but a good strategy is to focus on one major category.. My Challenge is, to launch a vessel from the launchpad or the runway, whichever you prefer, take it to Low-Kerbin-Orbit (Every orbit with periapsis over 70km), and it has to have the capability of docking to a station. Rules: -What is considered the Cost of the mission is the amount of funs you have to pay for the whole vessel minus the recovered stage -You're only allowed to recover one piece (meaning, only one Structure of connected parts) -No infinity gliders -No Ladderpowerd spacecraft -No Bugusing -No mods except for MechJeb (you still have to fly the mission yourself) or KerbalEngeneer -No Xenon Propulsion (would have been very expensive anyway) Score: -10 points for reaching orbit with docking-capability -1 point for Vessel cost <25k -2 points for Vessel cost <20k -3 points for Vessel cost <15k -5 points for Vessel cost <10k -10 points for Vessel cost <5k -5 points for SSTOs. (Except for the payload, for example booster plus rcs powered probe) -small docking port = +1point -medium docking port = +3points -large docking port = +5points -5 points for manned Vessels -2 points per additional kerbal aboard -4 points for probe core/commandpod/Kerbal back to kerbin safely ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Have fun doing this rather simple challenge!

  6. Although it is a good idea, I wouldn't want it to be implemented into the game because for example, the mun has in inclination of 0°, which would result in a solar eclipse and a munar eclipse every orbit.
  7. I want to downgrade KSP to verison 0.18.0. In this Forum I have already found versions 0.7.3 to 0.13, but not more. Can someone give me the download link please? thx
  8. Please add comets to the stock game! It wouldn't just look awesome, but you could put them onto highly eccentric orbits! Also if, it would be nice because of the science (pressure data at different comet phases, surface samples, etc.)

  10. I've got the exact same problem, and aswell as D_Zod, the advice from claw doesn't help me. I think, because this problem has (to me) only occured in .25, that the next version of ksp would work normally (or just a bugfix).
  11. I've had a similair issue in .24 and i couldn't drop out of physics warp using , and . although it worked with the mouse cklicking at the top right at physWarp 1
  12. I just insatlled the new version .25 and as soon as everything is loaded, the game crashes. i tried to validate and reinstall the game which hadn't sufficed. Pls help me!
  13. please include the first of the two planned gasplanets! (the equivalent of Saturn)
