  1. I meant as a possible solution for the flag being set. I've noticed other "actionable" parts tend to skip any animation in the VAB. If you're heat shield is inter-stage it can be a pain in the ass to redo it; and not everyone is comfortable with editing the save files. :/ I think I might have some free time next month. Maybe I'll play with the source. Is it possible to put a warning on the first post stating "DON'T OPEN IN VAB!!!" ?
  2. I'm not familiar with Unity at all, so this is a shot in the dark, would skipping the animation (jump immediately from open to closed/and closed to open) while in the VAB help at all?
  3. I saw other people post this issue but no reproductions or resolutions. If you inflate the heat shield in the VAB, ModuleAnimateGeneric/Status becomes permanently set to "Fixed" and you end up with it inflated whenever you reload the craft or try to launch it. (Very bad when you are using procedural fairings, ) Deflating the heat shield in the VAB returns it to its original state but the status always remains as "Fixed". It also saves the animation state if you click save in the middle of the animation... Thanks for a great mod!
  4. Re-installing EVE from scratch worked for me. (deleting the folder) Also, if you are using the astronomer's visual pack, re-install that from scratch as well.
  5. Argh!!! This makes FAR a little less pleasant to work with... :/ It seems if you put an engine far enough away from another part it actually works. Is there any way to determine the distance thrust "goes" from the rocket nozzle?
  6. Do you mean that this is what is "supposed to happen" as opposed to a bug, or that it's such an old issue/complicated it's not on the list for a fix?

  8. If you place delta winglets underneath SRBs that are attached to the craft with radial decouplers; the craft is "stuck" on the launchpad until the SRBs above the winglets run out of fuel or the winglets are destroyed. .Craft file attached https://www./?mmzdcb33dcz6jbr Thank you!
