trying to assign the kerbal keys to the various buttons on the mouse but doesn't seem to work between all three modes,

hello ive just brought a rat 5 gaming mouse and have been trying to set it up with ksp, has anyone had any luck, any hints, or a profile that is accessable to everybody on it, thankyou for the help
