Can you try clicking on the BDArmory tab on the leftmost? Should be under all the utilities and science tab. Don't use the janitor's closet.

Also, double check that your install is KSP/Gamedata/BDArmory/(part, models, there are a bunch of folders and files), not KSP/Gamedata/BDArmory/Gamedata/BDArmory/(insert files here).

ooooh, going to the bd armory tab shows it's been loaded. It's weird though, weapon manager never showed up in search yet it was there the entire time?

    Everything should be in KSP/Gamedata.

Unless something went wrong with your install, which means I would need a screenshot of your gamedata folder.

    Or upload a ksp.log here.

okay so, just did a clean install of KSP (used 1.9.1 this time) because my main install has tons of mods (and I don't think that's an issue because they all work, BDA is the only one with issues). The majority of BDA parts STILL don't show up!

You don't have to revert mod to 1.8.1, you just have to go to github/spacedock for the 1.8.1 version.

Double check that you have module manager and PRE, and have them installed in the correct place.

triple checked. Even just went ahead and updated to KSP 1.10, and still have the issue. What correct place would they be in? Module manager in the game data folder and the PRE folder also in there as well, correct?

We were captured by lots of complex issues during early 2020, mostly by the pandemic. A bunch of normal things, like upgrading hardware, became quite troublesome.

Our core members accepted a few commercial CG projects last year, aiming to build new PCs (Ryzen 3 was too sweet to ignore), which caused the project being halted for a while. But recently, to be more precisely, by April we would have more free time to work on UFS again.

Thanks to all of you for your patience. Our recent goal is to release this mod earlier , hopefully before KSP2.

Woo! Take your time though, work and rl comes first.

Funny you should mention that.....I've been working on adding an alternate style to the Shuttle FSS tower parts....

It's not done yet, as it has turned into something more complex than I had figured, since I'm also laying groundwork for the big remake of the Saturn and Shuttle pad parts for v2.2--stuff like rearranging the UV Maps and restructuring the parts.

For v2.1, both the Saturn and Shuttle towers will have separate parts, not the merged multi-part I did in the mania of mesh merging that happened in the v2.0 dev period. The tower core section will still be a multi-height one, just without the crew access and top sections, and I'm redoing how it's set up in Unity to cut the .mu file size by removing duplicate meshes.

Also shown is the Rodan Crew Access Arm, a modification of the 2nd alt-style General Crew Arm, sized up a bit for the Tundra Rodan pod, and made to fit on the Shuttle FSS tower.

I plan now to remove the General Crew Arm in that style, and make the alt style an option for the truss-type general arm, by making the side panels an option over the truss, so I don't have to have a whole duplicate arm. I only made the SpaceX-style as a request from the Tundra Ex users, and so it will become exclusively for that pod, much like the Saturn and Shuttle crew arms are exclusive for Apollo and the Shuttle,

    Sweet! Can't wait!

  6. I'm having a bit of trouble. I'm trying to use the terrain editor, but the entry in the wiki for it seems a bit complicated. I'm trying to put a flat surface on Duna so that I may put a base/colony along with some static objects from various KK mods, but I don't know how to even begin making the flat surface. The wiki I think references things that are beyond in-game, and I'm no modder.

  7. Hello. While I really appreciate this mod and find every part in it great, it's very large and I'm running into lag and memory issues using it along with the other mods I need (I'm playing with kopernicus mods and those can take up a LOT of space, pun not intended). I only need the centrifuge and inflatable parts along with their respective IVAs. I'm not quite sure how the file structure works, so can anyone tell me what to delete to isolate the two things I need? Or alternative maybe the mod maker or someone else can provide me a zip with that already done? Please and thank you!

I am willing to bet his issue isn't going to be the same as yours. But if you want to depend on him to fix your issue that's fine.  Just don't be mad when the cause of his issue is different than yours. Here is a way to troubleshoot that won't take you hours.

It's should take you you no more than 15 min.  Even if you had 200 mods installed.

Let's say you have 20 mods installed for this example:

Step 1:   Remove half of the mods.  So, 10 mods.  run the game.

    Does the problem still happen?

IF YES,  the issue is likely within this group of 10 mods.  So,  repeat step 1 above to narrow it down.

IF NO,   then the problem likely is within other group of 10 mods you removed initially. So, Repeat the first step to narrow it down to the mod causing issues.

Just to be clear,  you do not have to delete the mods when you remove them.  Simply move them to another folder on your desktop that way you don't have reinstall the mods one by one. You can just drop them back into you gamedata folder.

Wow, that's actually a really good idea! Thanks! :D
