  1. hey when I landed on Edas I noticed a lot of Terrain tearing, not so much as bug report (as such no log provided) just wondering if this is a common/ known issue and if there is any easy fix thanks
  2. Should be version 0.3.7, I installed this very very recently
  3. Okay having visited all these moons in my tour of Neidon here's my review: First of all awesome and thank you making this! Got a good few hours of fun out of it and definitely made my trip to Neidon worth it The Neidon re-texture looks amazing I got many nice screenshots of it on my trip, I like the rings too they are suitably subtle for a Neptune equivalent My favorite moon has to be Hargalað, my first reaction to seeing it was "my god what is this thing" made sure I landed on a cliff with a nice view of Neidon and got some really good screenshots. Love the sharp cliffs and the crazy terrain My plan was to visit all the Neidon moons except for Thatmo, for the mission requirements here is my experience: Neidon being a gas giant means most of my dV is spent raising and lowering orbit, probably worth it to maximize Oberth effect here or possibly use gravity assists Plane change maneuvers are expensive especially near Neidon which is an interesting challenge for Nito and Tito since they have a very low gravity and are in low orbits. Getting encounters is closer to doing a rendezvous than on traditional bodies and either way you are paying if your inclination is off. Especially Hargalað and Tito were challenging because of their low gravity and because its difficult to transfer from Chymere to Hargalað or from Nito to Tito. I really enjoyed the challenge. For Chymere I spent roughly 200~250 dV on landing, and the same for return to orbit. Probably could be done for much cheaper but my lander was overbuilt The other 3 bodies have such low gravity landing dV is a non-factor, might even be better to just land on RCS pack I decided to start from high up in the Neidon system and work my way down Chymere --> Hargalað --> Nito --> Tito I'm only doing this because I'm visiting Nissee on my way out and want to refuel high in orbit before the plane change. Probably more optimal to come in low and work your way out / direct encounter Chymere from a lower periapsis in order to utilize huge Oberth effect of Neidon From about 19000km orbit and visiting all the moons in said order took about 2.5K dV out of my pusher stage (including encounters and circularizing), the vast majority was spent getting from Chymere / Hargalað to Tito/Nito that took me about 900~1000 dV. The second biggest drain was getting encounters with Tito and Nito, being more precise with my inclination, or doing my plane changes higher up could have saved some dV here. Hope this helps someone plan their mission Thank you again for making this!
  4. Hi I had a question, anyone have DeltaV estimates for reaching and landing on the added moons? Thanks!
  5. i docked for the first time! took me 3 hours but i did dock here is the album
  6. ive done some rule changes because i did this challnge myself and i think that it should be possible for people who are not this good at the game
  7. Lore: One day a kerbal space program scientist had a crazy idea, Lets not send our astronauts into deep space with absolutely no idea of how the planet might look like! This idea revolutionized space travel sending rovers to every planet and moon possible, They still wanted a manned mision to Duna and need someone to explore the landing spot first, Later it had been claimed that the scientist hit his head when waking up that morning. Challenge: Build an Unmanned Rover with a maximum of 30 parts put it on top of a rocket and fly it to duna orbit, Deploy the rover withing 500 meters of the landing zone ( an MK.1 Landing module sitting on the ground somewhere) and drive it to the Research spot (yet another MK.1 capsule) Rules: You're rover may not contain any more parts then 30 parts this does not include any skycranes lander vehicles and or rocket parts The rover may not be powerd by anything other then wheel power only This does not include boosters/rcs fuel used during seperation from landing vehicle This chalenge is stock only! Rover must atleast have these parts: Any kind of comunitron Solar panels (duh) One ore more Iluminator(s) of any type wheels (duh) One battery of any type Probe core (no rly?) Double-C Seismic Accelerometer Presmat BaroMeter Gravmax Negative Gravioli Detector 2hot Thermometer Screenshots: One screenshot of the rover (and the rover only) in the spaceplane hangar (info tab must be open) One screenshot of the Rocket in the VAB (info tab must be open) Pre launch screenshot Screenshot off any sort of staging you do Screenshot of the encounter with Duna (in map view) Screenshot of Orbit around Duna (in map view) Screenshot Before touchdown on Duna Screenshot of the rover/Landing vehicl landed Screenshot of Rover next to the Research zone Screenshot of Flight log (f10) The recourse tab must be open at all times during these screenshots Points: Slingshot with any moon/Planet: 20p each (must have prove you did it) Duna orbit: 5p Land outside 500 meters of the landing zone: -20p Land within 500 meters of the landing zone: 1p Land within 400 meters of the landing zone: 10P Land within 300 Meters of the landing zone: 15P Land within 200 meters of the landing zone: 20P Land within 100 meters of the landing zone: 25P Reach the research zone: 5p Recover data from duna back on kerbin (no sending): 25P Ad Mistery Goo container to the rover: 2P Name originality: 1-15p rover looks:1-15p Ill deside what looks good and is original Map download
  8. ye s you will be on the old leader board i see no use in not updating though
  9. Just giving this post another comment so it shows up in the top list again
  10. Ill add you to the new 0.90 list! i figured i wont delete the old results but 0.90 does add a whole lot more control because of the pilots so new list old one still there!
  11. I might just swipe all the old records vlean because of 0,90 it allows for shipt to be built that couldn't been done before idk if i should though
  12. Seems al good exept for the front view but thats an easy add just one question... How are you getting fuel with those fuel tanks?
  13. Yeah but im still gonna look in to it myself will be yes'ed or no'ed tomoz
  14. Yeah ive been working with octopusy struts but the EarthShip MK.2 didn't reach my old record due to stability isseus will fix it later dunz wurry
