  1. It usually happens to me on the second time I see the Kerbal - Either: Flight->Space Centre->Flight or Flight->Reload->Flight. If that makes sense. Before starting KSP, open your persistent.sfs search for: 'hero = True' Set it (and all others that = True) to 'False' (the CaPiTaLiZaTiOn is important) I 'think' this has solved the issue for me on this one particular save. Because I have so many mods installed and am too lazy to move files around, I also did this in the persistent.sfs: search 'name = TRScenario' and look at the Kerbals in the list - you should see something like 'Jebediah Kerman = TR/Jebhead.m TR/Jebsuit'. Change 'TR/suit' to 'GENERIC' (this will change the suit assigned by TR) So... it could be one or both, but I suspect it's the 'hero = True' that is the issue. You also need to have 'Personalize Suits' turned off in TR window.
  2. Best place to ask this is in the texture replacer thread. For workarounds, what has worked for me has been to either: Stop using Texture Replacer - but then lots of other things stop working, so not the best soluton Only use the default suits on the original four Kerbals Fire the original four at the start of a new game. Hire four new Kerbals and forget Jeb, Val, Bill and Bob exist. Also this, yes
  3. I think this is a Texture Replacer issue. For some reason Jeb, Bill, Val, and Bob revert to the default suit and forget what you assigned them when you launch.
  4. Flags, Decals, etc: Pruned things, added decals and flags for countries featured in Suit sets. See first post for more info. Suits: Added Netherlands, Finland, and Switzerland to ESA Base style set. Added Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, Venezuela, and Paraguay Base style set. Added Australia, NZ, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, India, Iran, and North Korea Base style set.
  5. Nice haha! It won't be easy, owing to the model onto which the texture goes, but there's no harm in trying I suppose. The IVA suits will be a little while in coming though.
  6. Added more ESA Base style Pilot, Engineer and Scientist suits: Belgium, Poland, Ireland, Romania, Austria, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, and although neither are part of the real ESA, Ukraine and Israel because game. Also added generic EU MKS suits.
  7. Hmm Beyond having the version of KSP that contains the suit style you want to use, there are no dependencies. It should literally be plug and play. It should be noted that these suits are all EVA suits, so inside the ship you won't see any changes. Which suits are not working for you? Or is it none of them? Do you have Texture Replacer installed, and are the Kerbals Jeb, Val, Bill, or Bob?
  8. @Nertea Been looking at installing the Extras. Not totally sure about the correct install path. I'll give SystemHeatConverters, as an example. Is that the folder to put into GameData or the contents of that folder? GameData/SystemHeatConverters/stuff Vs Gamedata/stuff. Hope the question is clear.
  9. I only just put in the request for the suits. The decals are not. Unfortunately Spacedock doesn't seem to let me uncheck ckan
  10. I've had this issue also. It might from using ReStock on 1.12 though? The panels fixed their orientation when extended for me though, so I never bothered to investigate it further.
  11. Some refinement and other things need doing, but here is a WIP Sneaky Peaky: ** Kerbal Heads not included
  12. In the spoiler below is a config example for some custom Future suits. I have also made a custom emissive (the configurable bit of the suit that lights up), but have no idea how to add a config line to get it to show up correctly. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the emissive to show up using the stock suit picker? I already use texture replacer and can get it to show up there. I'm not asking about a work around. Cheers.
  13. I think I speak for more than just myself when I say that this is one of the best mods on these forums. I for one prefer things to be released in a 'tested' state, and if that takes more time, then so be it. We just had the last(TM) patch for KSP and so I think it makes a lot of sense that a lot of mods take a little longer to be perfected(TM) before they are updated to this version. I want to say thank you to all who have worked on this mod over the course of its life. What I actually came here to ask was if work on ReStock+ is happening simultaneously with ReStock or if it's a case of first one, then the other?
  14. DDS is already supported for flags. I've been using DTX5 with generated mipmaps and the folder structure might have to be a "GameData/NotSquadFolder/Flags". I've never tried adding flags directly to "GameData/Squad/Flags", so I can't comment on that. Unless I have misunderstood what you mean?
  15. What is the suitType for the new slim suits? I am referring to this value in the cfg file: suitType = Vintage suitType = Default suitType = Future suitType = Slim Lucky guesses I suppose Was a bit of a pain to have to load the game, assign a suit, switch to another screen in game, go back to main menu, and then look at the persistence file, but the above are the correct values for those of us looking to make new suits.
